I'll take whatever I can get. I'm more of a Filmation Snake Mountain fan than the original play set.

I would love for them to all be made, but I have the vintage playsets, and have my Classics set up with them. I know people say the size is off, but I don't play with them, I use them for dioramas, and it works for my needs. And after you use the Grayskull stands, and little rock pieces that come with them, & the new weapons rack, it looks awesome!

So, I would buy new playsets in a heartbeat, but I'm very content right now.

I actually could care less, Id rather just a throne chair or a Snake Mountain. We had a 200x Greyskull (as crappy as it was) but have yet to EVER have a accurate Snake Mountain.

Castle Grayskull is a must, and Snake mountain comes as close as CG. Anything else is a bonus for me...

All I ever had was Greyskull, so I'd be happy with that. Heck, I don't even want the whole thing! I can't say I'd be able to buy it. I'd love a facade, honestly. Would be perfect, and probably right on the edge of what I'd be willing to pay anyway. On top of that, I imagine it would still have to come in parts.

I certainly do NOT need the rest of the playsets. I just wouldn't be able to buy them. I have other toys I love, after all. If I were only collecting MotUC and only displaying that, then sure! But that ain't gona happen. I just wouldn't buy other sets.

I'd LOVE to get them all, but at least Grayskull is a must. I'd survive if we don't see the others. A Snake Mtn. that looks like the DC/MOTU set would be icing!
Not to sound like a creepy cheerleader for Uki, but it's nice to know there is at least one person on this forum who is extremely positive & friendly all the time. I don't think I could be that nice even if you paid me. If we ever give out awards for "forum member of the month", Uki gets my vote. -Mr. Shokoti

Castle Grayskull alone is better than nothing.

Some people have said that they'd accept a facade. I'm wondering if I might even prefer a facade. It would be cheaper and probably easier to display. I'd definitely be interested.

i said earlier in the other castle greyskull thread id like the pieces that come as part of the castle grayskull be both modular and standalone (throne room, crystal room, dungeon etc) that way if someone just wants the front they can have that plus if by some strange set of circumstances they are unable to be finished at least you could use the rooms as seperate dioramas.

in reality i want a grayskull/snake mountain /crystal castle that any scene from any media could be played out in and since its modular you could swap out 200x pyramid throne with filmation or original toy

I feel the same way. This would be good for me. I'd be totally happy.

I'd be happy with a facade, but a playset would be amazing. I'd love something modular, though. Let us make CG as big or as small as we like by buying extra dungeons, throne rooms, etc.

As for Snake Mountain the exterior was always cooler than the interior so I'd be more than happy with a facade / diorama piece.

You mean you couldn't care less, right? If you "could care less" that means you must already care quite a lot!

Well I, for one, would LOVE a Crystal Castle that had more design elements of the Filmation version in a playset. A combo of the two versions would be great, as well, because it would truly make the Crystal Castle set new and different from the vintage one, and I think more people would want to buy something that's not just a replica of something that's already been made. I also think less pink on the castle would help it to sell.

Well obviously I want them all, but cost wise and importance wise (to me at least) I say Castle Grayskull for sure and the rest fall in if they may.

I completely feel anything is better than nothing. People who are All-Or-Nothing aren't really operating from a healthy perspective. It's dangerous, in many areas of one's life, to be an extremist.

I really, really hope we get to see a Filmation Crystal Castle someday, but I'm honestly not holding my breath. It would take a real miracle for that to come about...but I think Mattel might find a way to do Greyskull before the line ends, even if it isn't a full-on playset like the original.

I'm not an all or nothing type of person...and if Grayskull is all we can get...that's fine...but the least I will HOPE for is Grayskull and a Filmation or 200x version of Snake Mountain.
I always felt "jipped" with the vintage toy version because it's not the Snake Mountain I knew and loved. (Plus...I never understood what the "wolf head" microphone was all about)

I agree here 110%! Castle Grayskull was [THE] toy playset for this line when we were kids!
I would be MORE than happy to ONLY get a Castle Grayskull for MOTUC line, and I would be completely happy.

I frankly, just WANT a MOTUC line "slightly" up/size/re-scaled Castle Grayskull[.]

    Actually...I'd want Skeletor's throne room...and maybe a dungeon (If it's a playset)...If not, then just a facade is fine.

I'm all in for the playsets - I know it'll never happen but it be a blast for sure! I wrote in another thread how the smaller sets would be ideal for Mattel trying out the concept - 4H tweaked/redesigned Fright Zone, Slime Pit and Point Dread are all small enough in my opinion to not be considered too great a risk - especially if they produce smaller runs of these like they did the Wind Raider. Obviously Castle Grayskull and Snake Mountain would be the grails of the line and breaking up Eternia into three individual towers for purchase would be a cost saving option to consider.

If there are any customizers out there, have you attempted your own Eternia playset? I thought a fun concept would be using the format of Kenners old Batman Returns Batcave; condensed set that folds out with three to four walls/pieces allowing for detail and both sides: Eternia Palace walls on one side, throne room & Man-At-Arms workshop & maybe prison cells on the others. The benefit being when folded out, you have the Eternia wall exterior done in either Filmation, MYP or hybrid style. Ledges and look-outs with defense blasters, etc.

Too ambitious for this small line of course.

I would only go for a Grayskull, even if they made the rest. We are only going to get a Grayskull, and that will be a small miracle if we even get that.

I would be very happy if Grayskull was just a front face, with door that opened...don't even need the whole castle to play with. Just a nice interactive backdrop would be great.

If I get a Grayskull for the Masters figures...then my Ghostbusters will want a firehouse....and then my McFarlane Green Bay figures will want a Lambeau Field...and my Stormtroopers will want a Death Star....a big vicious circle....
After 5 years, IT is a reality...

Speaking of the GB Firehouse, I was in an antique shop last weekend on the Oregon coast and there it was - Kenners old animated firehouse! Just as I remembered it from childhood! It was in great shape but was missing the sign and larger containment unit piece. In an age of recycling tools - that playset would have so many uses now and fun ways to refresh for different properties. It was great to see it again. I'd gone back there because about 6 months ago they had an old Grayskull I was finally going to break down and get but I was too late. Oh well.

Snake Mountain first for me. Grayskull would be cool but Snake Mountain is the bees knees for me.
