The Kobra Khan Arrival Thread

I spoke to Brandon in DR escalations dept. 5 min ago to check why my day of sale order is still processing. Brandon put me on hold a few min while he checked with the warehouse who ships and was told they got a large shipment of Kobra Khans a week before the sale and they were filling as many subscription orders with that as they could. The remaining shipment was expected in next week since China sent Kobra Khan in two shipments due to the factory being closed for several weeks during their chinese new year. So remaining sub orders and day of sale orders should start shipping as soon as the rest arrive next week.

Where does it come from (what line, and what figure) ?

It's a 90's two pack full of weapons you can use in this line. I got it cheap recently at a comic book store and I can't imagine it not being sold cheap anywhere else.

Well after playing with my Kahn I have found nothing to complain about joints wise. I can say I'm not a fan of his eyes so I decided to paint the eyes on my extra Kahn heads to match his 200X look.

This sounds like great news. I'm a sub holder & have received nothing yet. I knew my day of sales would be late but I didn't like the idea of shipping the KK separately like the Fistos. But hopefully items will start shipping at the end of this week. It'd be nice to get updated through Matty Collector(yeah right) or get an email(another yeah right).

Mine arrived today. His ankles are definitely more loose than some of the recent figures however they are better than some of my worst like Prince Adam and man-At-Arms.

Other than that I love this figure! He is perfect and exactly what I wanted in a Kobra Khan action figure. Also I wanted to note that his elbows were very tight like in Pixel Dan's review but with a bit of effort I was able to get them to bend correctly. Awesome figure and I love his little buddy Fang.

I am enjoying him greatly! It's nice to get a simple release; nothing too crazy about him. Second head, gun, and little buddy. Simple! I really like the colors, and the choice to make the gun different was much appreciated. Finally, I do believe that the rubber shorts are THE perfect mold! They don't connect at the bottom, but they look like it. They work perfectly! I hope that any further shorts like his will be molded in this exact fashion.

What a pleasing figure. He is so well up dated. look so much like the vintage. only better and has a little bit of a 200x feel too.
my only issue is the stiff joints on the arms that cant move much.

Mine showed up today! As already stated in a previous post, I think the eyes are a bit disappointing as well. If you're going to do two heads, do they both need to have their mouths open? I'm happy to have the figure in my collection but it's not a total win for me.

I used a mixture of pearl, yellow, and 14k gold, Delta Ceramacoat paints. The hardest part was making his pupil slits.

Got mine Tuesday - just opened him last night. Seriously one of the coolest looking figures in the line, IMO. I kinda wish they would have given a third head with a closed mouth - Filmation style.

Spy Monkey Amory sets I mixed & matched parts from sets to make it.
It's perfect for Hssss The red handle matches his shield and the green blade works for him.
You will need the Empyrean set & The Venom set to make the sword for King Hssss, but with both sets you can make so much more
