I would generally pick Iron Man because Tony Stark and Bruce Wayne have similar intelligence plus Tony has a super-powered suit. However, since Batman has no powers I think Iron Man won't take him seriously and some accurately placed Batarangs on that suit and it will be Tony Stark, not Iron Man, dealing with Batman.
Batman wins.

I liked Iron Man's first movie more than The Dark Knight, but for me, in terms of characters, Batman wins in a landslide.

Batman, somehow he'd manage to turn Tony's suit into a liability. Perhaps he would just buy Stark's company instead, because that's how Bruce Wayne rolls.

batman...but only because i like the character more. this whole "batman will win because he always finds a way" is completely arbitrary and an invention of comic book writers that had to find a way for a non-powered guy to be able to co-exist with super-powered beings. it's gotten out of hand with both writers and fans...and it makes the character no more believable than a super-powered one.

I agree with you again. I grew up loving Batman like most little boys, but between Frank Miller starting the trend of Batman being a jerk who grunts dismissively at everyone & the idea most writers used that Batman could defeat Superman with a pipe cleaner & a piece of used chewing gum, I started liking him less & less. I just like Batman more, as I have said before in these matchups I don't worry about who could win in a fight.

However you choose your vote is the right way.Besides, if I worry about matching characters with similar powers and/or costumes, I end up with Batman VS Moon Knight and Superman VS Hyperion. At least I know Batman & Iron Man both have a lot of fans.
