Wow, that's so exciting to see! It's great to see more art from the movie. Amazing how close to the original designs some of those sketches were.

Thank goodness they didn't go with the idea of Skeletor being a normal guy that wears a skull mask in order to scare people.

    So very Awesome Sauce!

I love how the vehicles started to look like the Talon Fighter.

I also like how McQuarrie was really sticking to the action figure designs in a lot of those sketches.

    Yeah! Mini-Fisto rocks!

I love that at the end of the article, there's a "To be continued"...
Love the look of Grayskull he had going there.
I never knew Ralph worked on the concepts for a short time. Amazing!

Didn't we have a thread where Predabot tried his best to find out from the Ralph McQuarrie representatives just that?

Awesome to FINALLY see the stuff Ralph did.

Man, how awesome would it have been to have a sequel like Goddard mentioned that took place more on Eternia? Goddard mentioned several times how he wanted to base Eternia on a Tolkein-like designs.

    Dang, if only...

Yeah as we've seen before the concept-paintings by Claudio Mazzoli, they are too from 1984.

Thank you for sharing. I love the artwork. I really love the comments by Goddard. Sounds like he had some really cool ideas for a He-Man sequel.

Aw man, I didn't even know he'd passed away. :[

Regardless, this is fascinating! I love his version of the Talon Fighter. Some of those Grayskull concepts are awesome too.

That's hilarious, I know Goddard Entertainment very well, they were exhibiting next to me in the IAAPA Show in Orlando.....

However I know Claudio Mazzoli as well, as he works in the same field I do (theme parks)
