    Super naturals

hi, did anyone else have supernaturals as a kid, they had holograms as the main part of thier design, they had a cool playset which used to double up as a base for skeletor for me. im not sure if it ever made its way to comics or tv or anything

I had a few of them. I wasn't particularly fond of them though. They did come with some neat accessories.

I have recollection of them, but not sure if I owned any or if it was a cousin or friend type of thing.

I had one who had sort of a snake-theme going on, and two of the little guys with swords.

Between a friend and myself, we had the entire collection with exception of the Tomb of Doom playset, and the vehicles. My favorite was Snakebite.

Very big in Europe more than the US - wasn't Ted Mayer something to do with these at Tonka. Tonka made them I'm sure. Their fortress/portal playset looks like the Slime pit 'temple' shape to some extent.
They have a minor bit of scandal attached to them in the UK because the kids-aimed UK 'Supernaturals' magazine reprinted old EC comics panels and strips to horrific effect at the back of the books.

We had some of the little cloked guys that we got at yard sales. A few years ago, I got the Tomb of Doom playset--which went to my nephew for his Christmas present.
Holding out for Castaspella, Angella, Double Trouble and Entrapta!!!

Oooh oooh me! I LOVE Super Naturals!

I've got several of the figures, the Dragon and the Griffin, and the Tomb of Doom playset!

I've been meaning to do a video on this line for quite some time, but I've been waiting until I have just the right amount of pieces for it.

That guy with the brown snake helmet - that's the one I had! I loved that guy...my uncle bought him for me one day when I couldn't find any new MOTU, so I always stuck him in with my MOTU figs. I have no idea whatever happened to him, though.

Dan, Please , Please do a review! i used to love these things but i sold all mine along with my MoTU, Thundercats, Rocklords etc back in the 80s to get some pocket money togther for a holiday trip to blackpool. anyone in the uk will realise how sad that is . actually i kinda like the place but it was the rason for giving up all my toys, all i kept was my roton, a 5 legged spydor and my rancor.
if you do a video try and show us the holograms, esp the one in the toom of doom. i kind of remeber having a car for mine but could be mistaken.

Snake bite would be excellent alongside teela.

Also am a big fan of roast gooble Dan, thanks to you, Val, Eamon and Danielle for all your work on it- keep it up

Eh, forget those. We need a review of Crystal Warriors. Those were some of the best small figures, and the red one was my absolute favorite small figure. No one could tackle him when it was time to play football.

I actually bought a few of them MOC (foreign cards) a few years ago. I still have them

I never had any of these but my cousins had a few. I always thought they were interesting. The commercial I remember seeing was really cool too. Kinda made me want them, but I already had too much on my plate at that point in time to get into these too. Plus they didnt have a cartoon so that probably didnt help my interest in them.

They did have a mini comic that came with them though.

Crystar is awesome too! I only have two figures though: Crystar and Moltar. That's another series I've always wanted to do a video of. I'm sure I will at some point!

Who knows, maybe someday I'll be able to get Molten Man and Warbow. I've given up on ever getting the dragons.

That's another cool obscure line. Really hard to find now. I don't have any of those.

I had a ton of these as a kid. I remember having most of the figures, some of the little ghost guys, and the Tomb of Doom. Sadly, this was a line sold in one of the many regrettable yard sale purges when I was a kid.

This doesn't seem like it would be too difficult of a line to complete with a little effort. The figures never seem to sell for too much and the Tomb of Doom appears easy to get.

I saw the really good deal you got on your Tomb of Doom, PD: What is missing from it? The only parts I remember are the skull on top, the coffin with a holographic image inside.

Yeah, I won my Tomb of Doom on ebay for $5! I couldn't believe I got it so cheap!
I think the only thing missing is the dial int he back that you turn to activate teh coffin feature. Otherwise, it seems complete!

The figures themselves are never too expensive. The hardest part is finding them with their helmets, chest covers, and weapons.
