That idea would actually be a neat twist, but I was referring to

the splash page where Spector is alongside the other Preternians, presumably "jumping" into combat.

But I guess that could be speculative. Depending on how they handle Spector in the lore, he could be a really interesting character or a really big mistake. I hope they use him sparingly.

it would be the best way to re-use the statue.
Ah, but therein lies the conundrum of time travel and why it's so tricky:

In order for He-Man to A) become He-Man and B) eventually travel back in time to Preternia, He-Ro has to die. The very existence of Preternia Disguise He-Man relies on He-Ro dying, otherwise he would've never become He-Man or traveled back in time.

Unless they go with alternate universe timelines, I suppose. Or something.

So He-man will be King in a future, so why not King Adam?

So He-man will reveal that he is Adam, the true King after Randor?

actually not quite right. Two-bad is still technically 2 seperate beings just fused together. for all purposes skeletor is keldor with demoman fused to him as far as I see it.

To many people jumping back into time I wish Zodac would just be the one to go back and B-Slap everyone into place, time and order since he seemed to be the Original CE: Cosmic Enforcer!!!

Considering that cosmic enforcers should be the ones to keep the Cosmos in order and balance!!!

Spector uses his Vortex Suit to turn the tide in battle,
I remember when He-Man was the one who turned the tide in battle.

The good thing is that even though He-Man is now incapable(inadequate) of turning the tide of battle, we have The "MIGHTY" Spector to save the world of Eternia.

But Spector is the Alpha and the Omega! HE was cut-off from the rest of the Masters of the Universe, so we now know that HE, The MIGHTY ONE, is a Master himself.

Well as I posted in another thread I will definitely consider collaborating with another .orger/customer to redesign TMS when he comes in and 'tweak' his bio with another 'Thumbnail Theory". I won't knock him for having his very own figure cause we'd all want that, and we've heard the history of Lt. Spector/TMS already so I'm gonna just deal and make him acceptable! I paid for it, so I have already accepted him halfway!

The basic formula is there for a good / acceptable figure... turning water into wine I will try!

Yeah for THIS figure only (there's none on the Royal Guard package). But to his defense all the created characters have their creators on the blister.

    Interesting.

The throne of Eternia "rightfully" belongs to Keldor. Spector was "thrown into a time portal" by someone for some purpose. Spector serves "King He-Man" as opposed to "King Adam/Randor". Spector is responsible for turning the "tide of battle" in favour of the "King and Queen of Eternia", which would be Keldor/Skeletor if he is the rightful heir to the throne.

Spector sounds all too powerful. Why wouldn't King He-Man just send him back in time to kill Keldor when he was a baby? Or at least to prevent Adora from being kidnapped as a baby?

Spector has really moved up from being a part of the Red Shirt Army to his own character. I'm still not interested in getting him unless I am convinced otherwise. Slush Head however looks promising.

I told people about this way in advance- maybe now some people understand my disdain towards TG ...

Also doesn't this now contradict Scott's original story about how it was the 4HM who came TO HIM about the guard as opposed to HIM actually coming up with it.

Royal lineage can be totally skipped based on behavior and actions of an heir which would fall under the case of Keldor/Skeletor.

I think Spector is used in a preventative capacity. For example, if one of He-Man's enemies decided to go back in time to influence future outcomes, then Spector would be sent back in time to prevent that evildoer from tampering with the past. I wouldn't think He-Man would alter things from his own timeline, even if they were bad (i.e., saving the Sorceress from being bitten by Hsss, stopping Keldor from kidnapping Adora or hell...stopping Keldor's mother from influencing Keldor to turn heel).

    Aren't these things Zodac's role?

As stated before, I don't know why there all the hate being spewed about his name being in the burst. All of the Anniversary line figures will have the creator's name in the burst. It's happened twice before Spector, and will happen three times after. Scott didn't do it to get his name out there or pat himself on the back. None of that. Saying so is simply trying to find something "wrong" to pin on Scott. That's not the case with this. Sorry.

I agree entirely- this is an instance where no blame should be placed on Scott as it's being done for all the respective creators in this series. I'd take more of an issue over putting the palace guard variant on the package as well unless Mattel plans on re-packaging Lt.Spector as a single carded release?

About Slushhead, they said thay didn't make his tentacles bendy because of what happened to Snout Spouts trunk. Did they plan to use the same foamy material or what? Why not use the same material as on King Hisss snake form, or has there been problems with that as well?

ok, my bad... I was unaware that Bitner and the other 30th figures had their "Top Billing" on the blister card. I'll admit, when I saw the picture of Spector on the card and saw in the corner, Created by _______, I took it a bit far... yeah, I do jump the gun with TG, always trying to find a reason to dislike the guy. I'm an ******* like that. But after reading the bio and finding out that Lt. Spector is The Mighty Spector (even though everyone else knew that already and it was old news), It still irked me. The guy is constantly trying to make his mark into the line and I personally don't like it. I didn't buy the Palace Guards because I don't want to have a figure that looks like the brand manager. They should have included another Caucasian head other than his.
