    Anthro-Cat

The Head is 100% sculpted using Epoxy Sculpt (AKA magic sculpt)

    The Body is Cheif Carnivous'
    The Armor is Beastman's
The Shins and Feet are Mer-Man's
    The undies are Faker's
The Spear is from the Weapon's Rack
The gloves are from the most recent Dark Seid figure
    The Sword:
Blade and guard: Unknown toyline that no longer exists
    Handle: Unknown McFarlane Monster Weapon
    Straps: Unknown McFarlane Figure armor

The paint job is done in a triple layer process:
    1) Acrylic base coat
    2) Rustolium Semi-gloss clear spray
    3) Re-application of the accrylic paint

The Name: In the Greek language, "Anthropos" means man. The subword commonly used in etheenglish language is "Andro". I decided to use the real sub word "Anthro" and Hyphinae that with "Cat" in the same way "Battle_Cat" is hyphenated.

Like I said the other day Py, you have amazing talent as a sculptor which often gets overlooked by your 2d work- you could make a killing as the American equivalent of Tin.

It's about time somebody made this. I actually started a thread waaaay back when Chief Carnivus came out asking how many Qadian Battle Cats, Panthors, Battalions, and Clawdeens would be made... Love it. Good job!

Thanks man. Who's Tin? Do you have a link to his work?

Ah, the casting request I am terrible at casting parts. I received the same request for my Fang-Man and Platino Heads (and fist). I can only see my sculpted parts being casted if I can team up with someone who can do it properly...

As for casting (not to push, but here's an idea anyway), He-Bro had on his he-man.us website a way to do casting with clay and hot glue. This was for weapons and pieces like the Snake Mountain bridge, but I don't see why it couldn't work for other, larger solid items like body parts. Take some bakeable clay and make a base slightly bigger than what you're casting, press your item half-way into the clay, then remove. Bake the clay, and once cool, place the item back in and use more clay to make the other side of the mold (baking separately makes it where they don't stick together when being pressed). Bake that, and once hardened and cool, squeeze hot glue into the molds and press together. Let cool and dry, then pull them apart. Walla! New item! I know I wouldn't care if I got parts like this made from hot glue; all it is is a type of plastic, easy to sculpt, drill (for the neck peg), and paint.

Loving this custom! Loving the head sculpt and the paint-execution! Very interested that you apply acrylics after a semi-gloss coat. You don't reseal on top of the final acrylic coat? Very interesting....consider me a fan of all of your stuff, but I told you that already.

Ok.... so I THINK I finally found a good way to cast my head sculpts....

If it works, casted in resin... who's interested in:

    1) Motuc Anthro-Cat Head...............$8
    2) MOTUC Fang-Man.......................$8
    3) MOTUC Platino Head and Fist........$12

    Would those be resonable prices?

Good job on the stripes. I did a couple of custom Cringers. Those aren't easy.
