Love that mini-comic cover. I can only imagine what Gwildor and Movie Skeletor are thinking.

Happy 30th Spector! One of my most fondest memories as a kid was going to Zody's and my mom buying me my first ever MSMOTU Figure - Battle Harness Spector! I would play with him for hours! I loved him so much I had the knock off version as well in my collection, in silver and black colors part of the Fuerza X line. Great in depth look into the history of this great character and the amazing artwork and pics posted!

Ha ha ha! This is great! I remember my mom getting me my first Spector figure back in 83. I was instantly hooked!

    Also, happy birthday Val!

Mighty Spector is definitely the coolest of all 80's characters. I remember going to a Toys R Us as a child to see Mighty Spector in person. It was on of the coolest experiences of my childhood. My mom took a picture of me on Mighty Spector's lap!

I always wondered as a kid if mighty Spector ever needed a sidekick to help him out from time to time by adding a bit more muscle into battle scenes.
I had this sketch book and would always doodle pictures of barbarians. I had one barbarian that was based on Conan and these blond haired, blue eyed bodybuilders who worked out at a local gym near my house. I put my Barbarian character in fuzzy red shorts and a metal harness. He always carried an axe and a shield. I called him Heroic Herman, which later I shortened to He-man. Here is a picture of him: HeMan.gif

I was obsessed with Iron Crosses as a kid, so I decided to put one on his harness. I saw these Iron Crosses all over my uncle's house and it seemed like such a mysterious symbol to me. I wondered what an Iron Cross would mean in Eternia? On the sidewalk near my parent's house, there is still a huge iron cross scratched into the pavement with the words "Heroic Herman."

I submitted Heroic Herman/ He-Man into the create a character contest. Wouldn't it be cool if he won?

I never could find The Mighty Spector as a kid. Upset me pretty badly. To this day it hurts to talk about it.

His bright colors spoke to me. Even through pictures.

Now that the Classics version is coming out will ease my pain and I can be a kid all over again,

But seriously I'm happy for you Mr N. Glad your dream come true and thanks for adding to the Masters mythos.

(by the way I gullible enough to believe those as actually quotes)

Nobody could find the Mighty Spector figure as a kid, because much like that lunatic trying to buy up all the vintage Ram Man's, I actually purchased every single Spector figure ever made. I then promptly loaded them onto a ship destined for Antarctica and subsequently burned them all... hence the huge hole in the ozone layer down there.

Wait a minute. I thought Spector Was suppose to travel to the past to make sure time is not tampered with? Did he go back in time & kill off a certain Prince/Barbarian with a blond page boy/Bowl hair cut and take his spot? Lol.

I loved playing with Spector as a child. And the Christmas I got Castle Spector! Wow, I could not stop crying with sheer lunatic joy. I didn't feel that good again until Spector Mountain!

I just wish I could figure out, no matter where my imagination took me, why Spector always got beat up by Barbie. What is up with that?!

Barbecue17 - if that uninspired character gets made, it will ruin my childhood.

Doctor Who. The Terminator. Back To The Future. All of them are nothing but lame rip-offs of The Adventures of the Mighty Spector.

I could never have the Spector figure as a child, so I drew in a cardboard, cut it out and played with that figure made by me. That way began my artistic career, so thanks, Spector.
