    I dig those tweaks!
Did you try taking the blue down alongside the body as well?

Weird, I see nothing. I tried to copy and past the image link and it said it was invalid.

Thanks, coming from the master color-er himself, that means a lot.

Didn't alter too much, just his eyes, wrist-bands, belt, and added a green layer for Castle Greenskull, I mean Grayskull.

I would really like to see how you would recolor it. That would be cool. I just wanted to some changes for my iPhone wallpaper it was too much back and white. But to have one recolored by you would rock.

(I spent only about 10 minutes on it, but it looks cooler on my phone now.)

    Strange.

Here's the original, then my color change one next to it:

I just noticed a thread started by Tallstar regarding further MOTU licensing deals, which references an article here. What I found interesting is that the article specifies that the license for the comic came from Classic Media, rather than Mattel. If true, that may provide some insight into the current story direction (separate canon), as well as shed some light on what DC can work with in future stories.

Sorry if that is old news to anyone, but I didn't see it mentioned anywhere else.

Interesting, because the writer for the mini-series James Robinson only mentioned talking with Mattel about his ideas for the storyline, and how Mattel was supportive of them.

So you have to order something to be able to preorder?

Mile High Comics ships my comics once a month. With that shipment comes the Previews catalog for the month. I need to have the catalog for me to place my order for new stuff with them.

I have been searching for something to satisfy my MOTU entertainment needs....hopefully this becomes something larger than a 6 issue series.

    Thanks for the link.

I'm happy that he mentoned Stratos. I know that he's rarely at the top of fan favorites lists, but I love him. I also appreciate the fact that Mr. Robinson seems to understand how awful it is to see something you've loved from childhood mocked or destroyed. I hope he doesn't let us down.

Unless there's a problem with Mattel not wanting them to go digital, there should absolutely be a digit version!

Thanks! I was hoping for that since I am not in the States and I prefer digital comics. I can't wait!

Is there going to be anywhere you can pre-order the variant cover or will it not be solicited in Previews as a separate item? I understand that the price would be higher than the regular version, but I didn't know if I had to wait until the release date to secure a copy.
