So does anyone know how these comics (digital and mini-series) have performed for DC overall? Flop, so-so or success?

I just got an email from Comixology. Looks like issue #8 of the digital only series comes out this Friday December 7th.

Not sure, but I am keeping my fingers crossed that it may feature a Horde character.

I looked back in the thread, and the first issue opened at #82 with 27,665.

Hoping and praying the next print issue does really good.

So do you folks think the print comic will continue on beyond #6? Wondering where the She-Ra related story fits in, or if that "to be continued" bit in the digital just meant the existing 'memory wiping' story.

Just finished reading it.

This series' decompressed storytelling is laughable. Issue 5 moves the story forward to a point it should've had reached by issue 4 already, but still took alot of time to accomplish that IMO. The last page felt extremely rushed because of that, and I doubt that issue 6 will feel any better. I guess I should wonder how

At this point though, I've completely lost any interest and just wanna see if Tri-Klops and She-Ra will appear in issue 6. If feel that most of the digital comics were have been much better than this core series.

Finally they move on with the story.

Issue #5 actually reminds me of how much MORE I would have liked seeing the previous issues be 50% of Adam's adventures and 50% of Skeletor-stuff.(Instead of 89% Adam and 11% Skeletor if lucky.)

DC also has an "Origin of He-Man" story scheduled for release on 30 Jan 2013,

They might therefore have plans for an "Origin of She-Ra" story too to continue her story.

There’s more to the image after Beastman, though. Will we see it inside? I can see an arm and a mouth with a long tongue. At first I thought it was Merman, but the mouth looks pale blue. Almost like Fang-Man.
