I haven't been able to get logged on all day..... Maybe it's a Comixology issue. BUT, I have trouble logging on every time, it takes usually 3 attempts, using the same font and password. Weird isn't it?

Wouldn't it be nice? One of the last known - or less written about - characters would be awesome. Like Jitsu or Dragstor.

I would love to see a one shot with either of those guys. Them or Webstor or someone like that, but I think it's too early for guys like those. Mind you, Leech showed up so maybe it's not that out of the question.

Been really disappointed that the comic shops in my town are not buying them. However they would special order for me, but I could just wait to buy them as a set of ebay or somewhere.

Dude, HE-MAN hasn't be featured yet.

He-Man is the main focus of the printed series. I'd rather the digital comic keep the focus on other characters. I love the mini-comic feel they have by making them one-shots each featuring a different character.

Its never going to happen. You can thank the goofball Filmation cartoon for that. It pretty much killed any future chances of He-Man or MOTU for that matter becoming a franchise looked upon by comic nerds as something that could be epic and is instead forever tainted by the media as a schlocky goofball cartoon.



I like the new direction the new DC comics are trying to take the franchise and am hopeful it may continue for some time to come. But, like with anything, nothing is set in stone. DC could announce they are canceling the entire project tomorrow for no reason.

Wonder Woman artist Phil Jiminez had plans for a Transformers/Justice League crossover that never happened. However, MOTU/Justice League is alot easier since DC has the license to MOTU. Maybe we might see something like that in the future...

the MYP toon was too much of this IMO. I liked it don't get me wrong, but He-Man felt more like a secret weapon than the star.

From what I know, this dynamic wouldn't have lasted had the story continued. He-Man would have come more centre-stage as the leader once MAA was turned by King Hiss.

Yet no one has yet been successful in making a more dramatic rendition of He-Man. It isn't that it hasn't been tried, it's because the entertainment world at large still has a hard time looking past the image of the cartoon.


Even now, with the new DC comic series, some fans still seem to be having trouble accepting this new He-Man who lives in a Conan the Barbarian-esque world that is being portrayed in the new comic. I honestly think it is the right step to take He-Man and I honestly DO hope it works just as much as when Batman was finally liberated of the 60's goofball portrayal.
