Filmation soundtrack to be released on CD in May!

Those are the tracks SeltenSelten (a person in Youtube) had extracted and recreated, before he took all of it down, but there are a lot of more tracks / music on Filmation He-Man & She-Ra series, than those and tracks included in this upcoming CD.

If I had to guess, there probably is something like 100-200 musical tracks in Filmation He-Man and She-Ra series.

Don't know about Itunes, but you can only buy MP3s from Amazon.fr, if you live in France.

My copy (well copies as I ordered 2) has been shipped. Actually it shipped on Saturday, but I only noticed the email about it today.

I just noticed that Amazon.fr kinda screwed about 1,50 euros per CD from me. The pre-order price was 7,15 euros apiece (including VA-Tax), but now non-preorder price is 5,67 euros apiece (with VA-Tax). The item had pre-order price guarantee, but they didn't lower the price during pre-order time, but after it, so it does not apply. Seems this is the first and the only time I'm going to order anything from the French Amazon.

Edit May 22nd:
Seems that Amazon.fr is crediting me the 2.88 euros difference (from my two CDs) in between the pre-order price and actual selling price.

Don't get me wrong, any kinda release is welcome, but for those that have the vintage soundtrack (by fair means or foul ... ahem) will surely agree with me that, not only is it not complete, but includes a couple of little-used "durge" tracks (Meditation, for example) in place of some of those catchy and iconic scene music scores that we love so much.

Yeah, just got my copy and it's pleasant/interesting but more of a chill-out disc. The French voice actor doesn't have a great deal of gravitas, although there's an instrumental version of the theme included, the Spanish version is entertaining, and I'm enjoying the backstory track with the limited French I can remember from fifteen years ago.

Anyone paying a premium for shipping might be a bit disappointed.

Tempted to go back for the Star Fleet and Inspector Gadget discs...

Just got my soundtrack today! Amazon in France ships faster than Newgistics in America. LOL

I like the soundtrack, but am disappointed there really isn't any Skeletor or Snake Mountain tracks.

Amazon France to west coast Canada in 8 days!
MOTUC takes roughly 5-7 weeks to get here these days.

Haven't had a chance to listen to He-Man yet, but Inspecteur Gadget is pretty awesome. Short, but awesome.

If you buy from Amazon often and are familiar with the set up, it's the same for the French version, just a different language. I had no idea what I was doing, but knew exactly what I was doing, if that makes sense.

To be safe, use an online translator, I did that with my confirmation emails.
