Amazing how quickly I went from pant-wetting excitement upon seeing this news on the main page to massive disappointment after reading on and seeing it was just the previously released tracks.
I will probably still get it to show support but like many others I am still clamouring for the superior later/She-Ra tracks.

I think, I'll get two copies. One to finally have those tracks legally and the other one, if not for any other reason, than to keep price of purchased goods under the shipping costs (shipping for one copy would be over 2 euros higher, than the CD itself).

I don't know if this CD will be available outside France.

The process on Amazon.fr is the same as on Amazon.com .

Those of you who may experience troubles in ordering it at Amazon.fr, should contact me.

    Best regards

A little disappointed because it is not what we are waiting for. But! Of course I'll get it. I hope for cd-quality sound.

Kinda like others, I was so excited when I first saw this news that I nearly dropped my bowl of Coco-Pops. Then as I read on and found that it's actually a re-release of the old Spanish soundtrack, the disappointment set in.

Don't get me wrong, any kinda release is welcome, but for those that have the vintage soundtrack (by fair means or foul ... ahem) will surely agree with me that, not only is it not complete, but includes a couple of little-used "durge" tracks (Meditation, for example) in place of some of those catchy and iconic scene music scores that we love so much.
Personally I hope that this release might sell well enough with collectors that it proves there enough interest to finally release some kinda more "complete" soundtrack (at least including a couple of those more famous tunes!). Oh well...

Oh? I musta missed those Any ideas where one should not look for such highly illegal recordings?!

Only if they'll really consider releasing more, if they weren't just saying that to boost the sales.

Yes, there was this one person, but he was forced to remove the videos and he has now deleted his whole Youtube channel. You can read all about it, from the other (stickied) soundtrack thread. This thread is about the official re-release of the (not even close full) soundtrack, that was released in the 80's on same parts of the world.

This company probably has a licence from Filmation to release this compilation. Whoever has the copyright to the music will have to allow it to be released.

It seems that release date has been pushed back by one week as it's now May 21st.

Yes I just saw that on amazon.fr

There are may be 2 things that can explain that

    1) In France, we have a lot of non-working days in May, so there might be some delay for the creation of the CD.
    2) The pre-sales are may be so successfull, that they may not have edited enougth CD to answer the demand. (just my opinion)

It's good, but I would expect more for a 30th anniversary release.

What/ which tracks are missing? Does anyone know how many tracks there ought to be?
How do you like that, hero!

    Made my preorder from Amazon. 26 € for 2 copies shipped to Finland. I guess 13 € apiece isn't that bad. I would pay up to 50 € (+shipping) for a complete Filmation He-Man & She-Ra soundtrack.

    I Googled these track names:

    action (long version)
    Athletic He-man
    Hero Plannings (She-Ra version)
    Orko's Theme (long)
    Mystics
    Important Travel
    Evil Attacking
    Carnival
    Mysterious woods
    Evil Plannings
    Cosmos
    Hordak's theme
    Remember me
    Snake mountain original version
    Fighting He-man

Would these be thenames of the tracks missing from all Motu Soundtrack releases?

Those are the tracks SeltenSelten (a person in Youtube) had extracted and recreated, before he took all of it down, but there are a lot of more tracks / music on Filmation He-Man & She-Ra series, than those and tracks included in this upcoming CD.

If I had to guess, there probably is something like 100-200 musical tracks in Filmation He-Man and She-Ra series.
