I just noticed this thread has been moved to the Other Discussion forum.... well that might lower the amount of votes coming in, as not many people visit the Other Discussion.

Anyway this thread has had 851 views and 18 voters / participants, so... i guess a vast majority of the He-Man.org community doesn't care about helping a fellow Orger out with a very few minutes of their time

That's cool, man, always glad to learn about other orgers being from Venezuela.

As for the figure, you're very generous but I think it would be unfair to other orgers outside the USA if I participate. I read the note about international shipping before voting and I'm more than happy following the rules, so I'll stay out this time. Thanks anyway!

The List so far has 21 participants. THE THREAD HAS BEEN MERGED with a previous one i created before coming up with the Giveaway idea. But the list is still there, visible... it's just not the FIRST post anymore. Scroll down a bit and it's there on the first page.

Whenever it's updated, that's where you need to look.

Odrakir has been added, since when he voted i had forgotten to add him to the list.

The design has 528 votes so far (sunday 15th, 6:00 pm EST)... with some luck it'll get the 700 votes i'm hoping for. If not then i can already count myself as satisfied. As i said, every single vote counts and you guys have HELPED SO MUCH in helping push up the score of my design.

Hey everyone! First off, a HUGE THANK YOU to all who voted, shared, commented and supported my design. You are all awesome!

The scoring ended on Tuesday 17th around 3 pm EST... these are the stats:

3.45 (of 5) from 686 votes

... My goal was 700 but that's because i hoped for a round number, 100 votes a day for 7 days. But still i am currently at #1, BUT the scoring isn't over yet, there are still many designs up for vote and will end on Thursday or Friday. So i don't think it's wise to count the chickens just yet.

Also, the final decision is up to the Threadless staff and the Judges (don't know who they are)... We'll know in about 45 days time.

GIVEAWAY DRAW:

What do you guys think about letting someone else, a third party, perhaps someone who is neither the giver (me) nor participating for the Free Figure... choose the winner but of course, randomly?

As i said, i'd like as fair and transparent a choosing method as possible. Let me know what you guys think. Maybe we can do this Wednesday night?

Btw, I think your work is awesome but it's been my experience that as someone who works in the industry most organizations don't want me to participate in voting or that sort of thing.

If you want me to do the drawing, what I'd do is write each person's ID on a separate piece of paper, fold them up, put them in a bowl, draw the winner and let you know.

If you don't want me to do this because you hate NA (joking, I'm joking!) of for any other reason, I'll understand.

I'd say we go for it, though i also would like to know if the other participants agree.

Another option i thought of was:
i can make a small video of myself mixing little papers (with numbers rather than names) in a bowl and pulling out one of them. It wouldn't be live, but it would be "recorded live" and i would post it on Youtube with a private link for all of you to see.

I know there are 21 contestants and i remember the name of many of them, but i don't know who has which number, so that's why i though numbered pieces of paper would work better than named ones.

IDK, i'm really just trying to offer the most transparent and fair draw for all participants. This aspect of the contest is a huge deal for me. I'm not sure if people have been following this thread so i'll also send a private message to all participants, with the contents of this post.

And we can complete this contest tomorrow
