Wow, first Horde Prime now Mosquitor in MOTUC this year! And Shadow Weaver earlier this year! I'm thrilled to think that the Evil Horde section of my collection display will have to expand. I hope that Mosquitor incorporates elements of the staction and the classic figure, I've not been disappionted by the 4H in this line yet with any Horde characters.
    I'm Quacktacular!

Will the next shot be of his chest? They have been working their way up his body. Although I suspect the next tease will be his forearm the chest is to much of a give away. That's what we all want to see, how will they do the blood.

Not silly at all I feel the same way. Purple is my favorite color but besides that the shade looks great with the silver and black.

They are so gonna blow our minds with a working blood pumping mechanism! I love this line and all it's drama. Thank you He-Man for yet another amazing era of toy awesomeness!

let's not get our hopes too high or they might get... reversed!

I never liked Moskitor as a Classics vintage. I LOVED the staction (which I did not find at the time and forgot about for awhile)
What doesn't work for me is a Moskitor with big muscles. He should have thinner arms and legs... But seems like the legs are the regular buck so I'm probably gonna be disappointed...

As for the blood pumping, I'd rather NOT have it as a fully working pump 'cause it will probably not age very well... I mean, I hate to be negative, but Mattel has hads issues in the past with rubbery material: She-ra 2:0's dress tears VERY easily... so does the plastic on Snout pout's trunk; so maybe for the sake of durability, it would be better to forget the pump and just have a blood container in his chest that you can shake...

...Awww what am I saying!!!! A working blood pump would be GREAT!

Well if we don't get the working blood pump feature, maybe we'll at least get big button sculpted on his back.
I'm hoping for a Disco Skeletor for the next subscription exclusive! Fully flocked!

Loving the Mosquitor reveals! Based on what we've seen so far...

I'm doing this like a reverse of the scene from Major League. I'm adding pieces as we go!

I know what you mean. It's a great shade.

Personally, I really am hoping for some 200x elements on this one. Wasn't a huge fan of the vintage character, but his staction brought me around. Not that I think he needs to be identical to the staction, but some nods would definitely be cool.
Photog is here! thank you, Mattel!

Now how about some mini-comics love (like Lodar, Geldor, Dakon......)? And Mermista?

Only half excited about this figure, but I gotta say... this is a pretty cool "reveal" process!

I'm hoping (and expecting) the vintage proportions as far as the head and everything, but if they could attach his wings to the blood-tank backpack like the Staction (that could be removed if people wanted a vintage look)... that would be really cool. The staction had so many cool elelments.

I think Squitor is perfect for the Stinkor treatment (the extra parts, not the flipping of parts). Removable tanks and such would give you the choice of pure vintage or 2002 influence. It works so well on Stinky, I can't see them not doing the same sort of thing here, unless it's cost prohibitive.

think it would be a reuse for the stinkor tanks? might not fit the staction look 100% but it fits the vintage way of doing things.

This reveal process reminds me how the revealed some of the figures at SDCC. The slideshow started with a random shot and then another random shot and then the entire figure. It was interesting to see the reactions in the room because some people figured out the figure from the first shot, but it took others until the entire figure was shown to know who it was.

I think that it would be cool if they revealed another up-coming figure this way. Just show us a small part of it and then let us speculate on who it is for a while.

It would allow for re-use and save tooling dollars, so I'd say it's a workable possibility.

Honestly, it is funny for a few puzzle-pieces, but I hope they don't stretch it too far...

After a month, this won't be funny anymore...

I guarantee they'll send me several tiny pieces like this until the full figure is finally revealed. Cornboy said that's exactly what he was going to do, and I don't doubt him.

I think you can see the knee joint in the Mosquitor foot picture, so it probably would cover the whole lower leg (meaning you shouldn't see Spector's knee joints in the picture you used).
