Masters of the Universe 30th Anniversary Glasses(Toon Tumblers)!!!

Hey, gang! Just wanted to share these awesome pics w/everyone! I was at C2E2 over the weekend and saw these glasses @ the Toon Tumblers booth. The owner was nice enough to let me take pics, so I wanted to share with everyone! Keep in mind, THESE ARE SAMPLES and the FINAL PRODUCT MAY VARY, depending on licensor approval! There are 4 glasses; He-Man, Skeletor, Teela, and Beastman. Each glass has additional background characters and the set of 4 glasses comes in a box with the MOTU 30th Anniversary logo on it. These are not available until May 2012 and I was told they may be available through Diamond's PREVIEWS catalog around June or July 2012, so you may want to keep an eye out and have your local comic or toy shop order them for you! Hope you enjoy the pics and info!!!

These are freaking awesome!!!!!!! FINALLY, some 30th anniversary stuff that, you know, ACTUALLY celebrates what there was 30 years ago! The cell phone/computer skins and those round tin things are neat, but we still love He-man now because of what there was back in the day, and that is what I want to see represented!

I've been urged to add news to the main page and sub-sections over the years, but for the longest time I avoided it because the process didn't seem that user friendly.

Finally, after being asked more recently, I took the plunge and got Sallah and MegaGearMax to explain it to me - kindergarten instructions.

I think I know what I'm doing now.

Really cool and much better with Emiliano's art (He-Man & Teela are awesome). Hope I can get a set. I'd like to get Batman ones too.

I have to have them! Teela is of course my favorite with Orko in the back ground and I love the that Evil Lyn is in the background of Beastman. Although I would rather Evil Lyn have her own glass over Beastman.

I love the art work they chose for these. However that price point of $40.00, I think, is ridiculous. $10.00 for per glass...they beter be high quality or else sticking He-Man on a glass does not, IMO, warrant that kind of pricing.

Also it looks like the background art on Skeletor & Beast Man feature different charactes but He-Man & Teel share the same two (Orko & Battlecat). I would think Teela should have MAA & the Sorceress in her back ground...or whatever...but Skeletor looks like he has Beastman & someone in his background...shouldnt he have someone who dosent have their own glass...maybe merman & someone else?

I just got way to detailed about He-Man glasses & am now freaked out by the fact...

I agree it is pricey. So don't put them in the dishwasher when you get them. That will definitely wear on decals.

My local comic book shop stocks these toon tumblers. I have debating many of time on grabbing some, I guess these will be the ones! I am definitely picking up two sets.

I'd love PoP set. Maybe She-Ra, Catra, Hordak....?
