Welcome to Masters Comic Cast!

The monthly Podcast dedicated to the New Masters of the Universe comics!



The premise is simple; each month your hosts AlternativeMindz, Jukka and joseephus
will take one of the new comics about Masters of the Universe and discuss it at length.
From the 3 mini-comics by Dark Horse to the 6-issue mini-series by DC Comics.
Each episode will focus on one comic.

Whenever a new comic is released during 2012, an episode of Masters Comic Cast is soon to follow.

** NOTE: While the hosts will talk about their first impressions upon receiving the comic,
the episodes will contain spoilers about the storylines and any rumors the hosts might have heard.

Great Podcast!

As someone who has been following the Bios and watching them as they slowly piece together bit by bit, I can say I think they are doing a really good job of tying things together. I can see how they would be confusing when looked at individually, but if you take the time to look at threads like Irians bios timeline, you can easily see how it all comes together, and help predict the next figures to be released (ie New Adventures Skeletor) just by looking at where the story is heading!

One thing to note....Tytus's bio was very quickly changed after it was released, and although the back of the box art states that he was killed by Megator, it was pointed out on the MattCollector.com site, that that was inaccurate...so don't expect TYTUS to die in the MiniComic (But I think you are justified in expecting to see Megator get chomped to death by the Central Tower, and He-Ro get killed in the minis)

I mostly agree with my man Missile-Toe there, with perhaps two exceptions: although the bios seem to piece together bit by bit and Irian's timeline is of great help, I often find myself quite confused. Second, I should state that I don't agree with each and every bit of the bios (some aspects leave me puzzled, some annoy me to pieces :-))

Consequently, I fear, much like Joseephus, that in the end some things will be left unsolved. I am not saying that every tiny little detail should be explained to death (on the contrary) but some things need to be clarified more. Which leads me to agree with Mr. Base: the mini comics can not contain all these explanations...

Yet, all in all, I am very excited about all the comic news (mini & DC) and it's a good thing to build up suspense via the podcast (though I'd appreciate some less ranting ). Thank you guys!

Edit: oh, and I really agree with Jukka: Preternia rulez!
