Why doesn't Panthor change in size like Cringer?

If cringer is so small and weak and take the power of grayskulll to become battle cat and grow in mass size, why is panthor big originally and is not small and changer size? I don't get it? Why wouldn't panthor also be small and change?

Probably in the same way that Skeletor doesn't have to call on the power of Snake Mountain to transform into a more powerful being the way that Prince Adam does. They are not the same animal and don't have the same needs. Much like Adam needs the Power of Grayskull to become big and powerful, so does Cringer need that to do the same. Skeletor and Panthor are already big and powerful.
    Harken the coming of Tuskador!!

HeMan and Battle cat are the manifestation of the spirit of Castle Greyskull channeled through the ancient sword of power .

    Technically they dont exist .

You mean the toys that came out a year and a half before the show started?

I mean toys that were made for Big Jim before MOTU toyline even existed But yeah, Filmation basically just followed the toys... not that it is fictional reason at all, or logical for the story. I always found it a bit boring that Skeletor's steed was just a copy of He-man's.

If you think of Cringer as Battle Cat's natural form, perhaps Panthor is already in his natural form - just a massive, powerful feline already on the level of Battle Cat. In which case, theoretically, if hit with blast of power from the Sword of Power, Panthor could take on an even larger mutated form.

Or, maybe he'd revert to a form like Cringer, if his Panthor state is imbued with evil power.

All of which talk reminds me of He-Rold.
