Once a by-the-book hard lined palace guard, Ramses was willing to go above and beyond the call of duty to get the job done. This showed most when they day came where he would (or thought he would) make the ultimate sacrifice. Near the end of The Great Unrest, a crazed fanatic attempted to assassinate the royal family while Marlena was pregnant, using a small self made bomb. Ramses quickly disarmed the would be assassin, however the bomb had only seconds to go before it detonated. Without even thinking twice, Ramses covered the bomb with his body shielding Randor and Marlena. In a strange twist of fate whole the bomb still did detonate the fact it was made from crude materials kept it from working properly, sparing Ramses life. But there was still a cost...there was too much shrapnel in his legs from the blast and they had to be amputated, also the top of his head had to have a reinforced steel plate grafted to it to as well as some irreversible brain damage. Man-At-Arms took pity on him and built him cybernetic legs that could also allow him to jump to great heights. Also with the steel plate on his head he found out with the legs he could also ram objects. Now as a member of the Masters of the Universe, Ram-Man uses his abilities to give evil a push as well as being a source of motivation for the team always being the one trying to get others to smile.
