Basic question: Are you happy with the state of the line (production / service-wise?)

Okay, so one basic poll with one basic question...

Are you happy with the line? Not the selection of characters or the bios, not 200x influences etc (which we'll never fully understand the reasoning behind what is/nt included anyway ), but I'm talking the Quality Control, the service from Digital River, and all such related matters?

I'm really curious, because so many of us seems to have been hit time and time again (broken / wrong / missing parts; sloppy paint jobs; damaged or even wrong boxes; delayed orders; orders never arriving (many overseas collectors are still awaiting everything from Demo Man onwards to ever arrive), and yet whenever there are threads discussing the matter / how we feel / what we might ever do about it, there are others who seem to have strong opposite views, that everything is perfect and that we're moaning over nothing.
(For the record, I don't mind "constructive flaming", if you will, on such threads, I'm just really interested for a poll on where everyone stands on the matter)

I'm a lifelong MOTU fan and have supported MOTUC from the very first He-Man / Beast Man release, even when I've seriously had to juggle finances to keep collecting the line, and ordinarily despise the continual "moaning", but even my own patience is at breaking point now ... Just wondering basically who's happy and who's not.
I've gone for straight "yes" and "no" options on this one, no "other" - I think we all have smaller (but still important) niggles (a certain skunk-warrior's arms are currently causing controversy ), but the one is more aimed squarely at the quality of service and production.

Yes, I am very happy with it.

Sure there are Quality Control issues; but as a loose collector and customize;, to date there has not been anything that I couldnt correct so that I was happy with the figure... or possibly improve it.

So I am very happy with the line so far, and hope it continues.

Yes, overall I am happy with it. The one time I have had to work with DR CS (so far) took too much time to be satisfactory and their communication with me and each other sucked. However, the end result was acceptable service recovery.

Production quality is what it is, imo. I think errors occur in every toy line but I could be wrong.

Yeah, overall, i'm happy with the line.

The biggest issues for me were of course Roboto & King Hiss' shoulders being reversed. With Stinkor, i'll pass judgement when he turns up. I learnt long ago that pictures off the net can be deceiving and making decisions based on those pictures won't happen. If it is an issue for me, then obviously i'll deal with it appropriately through Mattel rather than being an annoying sod on here. Also, ankle joints were a bane in the earlier years but they've been ok lately.

I'm mostly happy with the character selection so far, and i'm looking forward to see what lays in store for the rest of the year. I've been fortunate in terms of paint apps where the figures i've received have been really nicely done. Rarely any sloppy paint application. There's always room for improvement in general without doubt and the positives have outweighed the negatives for me in the end.

    Most Wanted MOTU Classics:

    *MotU ~ Modulok/Two Bad *PoP ~ Angella/Glimmer *200X ~ Roboto/Calix *Filmation ~ Teela Na/Lord Masque
    *Play-Sets ~ Snake Mountain/Fright Zone *Vehicles ~ Jet Sled/Land Shark *Beasts ~ Stridor/Night Stalker

Yes, I'm happy with the line.

Also, this question was asked less than two weeks ago.

    I'm a happy camper!
Not to sound like a creepy cheerleader for Uki, but it's nice to know there is at least one person on this forum who is extremely positive & friendly all the time. I don't think I could be that nice even if you paid me. If we ever give out awards for "forum member of the month", Uki gets my vote. -Mr. Shokoti

yes. I have had very little problems, and a couple of major ones (though the major ones were with shipping issues now corrected) but for as little resources this line has had, it is so amazing. I'm good.

Just like me. I hope the line will continue and we'll see many more new MotUC characters in the next few years.

Overall I am happy. I had a couple of minor CS hiccups, but otherwise I'm fine.
