I just got NOW 43. I normally don't go much for these type of cds, but it had a lot of hits and I had a 5 dollar best buy coupon so I thought "what the heck"? Good cd.
I find few band and artists are worth listen to. Like Aaron Lewis,
For me the best 00's music are Evanescence, Aaron Lewis, Switchfoot, MindFlow, Pendulum, James Labrie's Solo, and local band (The Times, Bittersweet).
I agree that from late 60's to late 90's are really good and interesting, maybe because that's what the radio plays worthy music before the world of Mp3's enter our lives.

There are sentences I should just stay a way from. - The Doctor
Rob Liefeld isn't a comic artist, he's a women's clothing designer. Think about it
Black Light Burns - The Moment You Realize You're Going To Fall
Another great album from the musical genius Wes Borland. Seriously, everything he's done outside the abomination that is Limp Bizkit, has been amazing. If you haven't heard any of it, check it out.
"Oh Lord, Bless this M&M... and the mighty cockroach I slain in battle to get it." - Al Bundy
The Cardigans: The Best of (2 disc import)

local h - hallelujah! i'm a bum
local h has been my favorite band for years and it's no surprise why. their music is just as strong today as it's ever been. there are a variety of sounds and influences to be found within the album, so there's something for everyone.

Just tonight, I picked up Pink's new album, The Truth About Love. It's pretty different, for her, compared with her other albums. But it's really good. Love her!!

Found these CD's the last time I was in Dollar Tree:
REO Speedwagon: Find Your Own Way Home (a bit mellower than their early stuff, but still good to listen to)
Guns-N'-Roses: Chinese Democracy (worth the $1.00 I paid for it; I had to read the CD book to understand the lyrics)

"You killed Captain Clown, YOU KILLED CAPTAIN CLOWN"-Joker.
No Doubt: Push & Shove
10 years....10 YEARS I wait for a No Doubt album and after all that wait...I get a Gwen Stefani album. WT*.
I am beyond let down with this album. Needless to say I left a long sad message on iTunes.
This is NOT a No Doubt album. This is Gwen Stefani's 3rd solo album.
3 tracks on the album sound like a No Doubt song (Settle Down, Push & Shove, Sparkle).
I am ALL for an artisit or band progressing in sound, I think they should! When you compare No Doubt - Beacon St. - Tragic Kingdom - Return to Saturn - Rock Steady you hear the progression the polishing but its still No Doubt. Then you have Push & Shove dropped on you and its like...No Doubt who!? This sounds like its an album made for "today's youth". I feel like No Doubt left all its fans (for 20 years!!!!!!) in the dust.
Like..."Hey thanks for all the support for all these years and for staying with us for a 10 year break....BUT...we think we're going to try to be a pop band now". WHAT!?
I just cannot get over this and I cannot belive I am saying this about No Doubt...I really truly cannot.
I feel like I just got dumped!!![]()
Picked up the new Green Day record, and.... It's pretty awesome.
It's a really nice throwback to early albums like 1,039 smoothed out slappy hours, Kerplunk, Dookie, Insomniac, and Nimrod.
Most of it is pretty much straight up pop punk with a hint of New Wave. It's a pretty fun ride, and I can't wait for the next two.

Molly Hatchet - Justice
Iced Earth - The Glorious Burden deluxe edition
"These are the days of high adventure"
Epica - Requiem for the Indifferent.
I actually already had the iTunes version of this, but I was going to an autograph session for Epica at Progpower USA and needed something for the band to sign, so I found this great booklet/album combo a few hours before. Now I have a signed booklet and a back-up copy of the album in case my computer crashes.![]()

Aerosmith's Music From Another Dimension!
Maybe I'm biased, as a die hard fan... But their new album is truly, genuinely, amazing! I know it's been ripped to shreds by the critics, and the 70's fans hate it, but I gotta be honest, I love it!! Every song is such a different trip. It's so different from anything they've ever done... but at the very same time, it's SO Aerosmith in every way. And Steven Tyler's voice could move mountains!!
I HIGHLY recommend checking it out. Especially the songs; Beautiful, Out Go The Lights, Street Jesus(Classic Aerosmith), and the best of the bunch is a mind numbing ballad called Another Last Goodbye. It's just Steven, a piano, and an orchestra.... it makes me cry every time I hear it.
If you're curious, or on the fence about picking it up, casual fan or not, I'm telling you, CHECK IT OUT!!!! You're gonna love it!!
