Hahahahaha! I can't believe they went with that, wow! It's still Cup head, Boba Fett, and Tank head but it's cool. Better than I would have expected. Although the interchangability seems to have affected the figures looks (and in Tankheads case articulation), I really don't like how bulky it makes them look. They only gave him one head sculpt as well, which I think is kind of silly, Boba Fett should have had his own 'face'.

I like this exclusive, it's not terribly hard to skip for the normal collector and I like a lot the idea to produce some unknown concept.

Also the Boba Fett has paint rub all over his chest. Hopefully that's just due to them being prototypes and not going to be a widespread issue.

You guys are no fun at all! I actually think they are really cool. They are kind of silly and doofy, true, but fun. The best thing ever for the 30th year? Well... hmm... I do wish the base would have been a He-man 2.0 that you put different stuff on. Still, it's pretty cool.

What the H-E-double hockey sticks is that? And what is up with the 3 looks, where did that all come from?

These are based upon the original 3 prototypes presented by Roger Sweet to Mattel when the He-Man/ MOTU line was still in the concept stage. The originals were intended to show that a strong masculine character like He-Man/Megaton Man/ "whatever they were calling him" could easily fit into the fantasy, sci-fi, and military genres of boys toys. Apparently, with Mark Taylor's art and Roger Sweet's models, Mattel decided to embark on the journey towards the MOTU we know and love today!
