An idea to display 3 Vykrons for less money....

Well I like to display all my figures and have all the variant looks out. Especially if they look different. So with this character at a $30 price point. Keeping one MOC and 3 to display would be $120.00 plus tax and shipping....

So what I'm gonna do is. Buy 2 Vykrons...1 MOC and the second for display and parts... And then I go to buy 2 He-man figures from Matty for $22.

So my math would save me $18 bucks.....

Yes, in order to help:

Ill use the buck from the pack in the Barbarian.

MAA buck all in "military green" - Tank-Man

Tryklops and He-Man bucks also will do great.

If you have any of these lying around, you could also use the TRU He-Man body or Mo-Larr minus the lab coat

Yea well we just screwed tg out of making a lot of money from those who would buy multiple figures to display.

It just don't make sense to do it for this....it really don't.

So I'll cheap out and save some money....

That makes me think that the Space helmet won't fit other heads. Hmmm..?

I've got an extra Mo-Larr I obtained in a trade, so that's one body down. I'll work out something with another head to fit the helmet - i'm sure something will work (taking off the hair on one or cutting down Mo-Larr's head or something). As for the tank guy, I think I'm gona use my extra Faker body to make him more robotic-looking. Of course, the main body will just go to the barbarian guy, so I can display those cool new gauntlets.

I have an extra He-Man head from Prince Adam set, so Ill cut it in order to fitting it in the helmet.

Don't forget the shipping for those extra He-Man figures... in the end, the grand total will still be up there.

Or you could look for 2 loose He-Man's on ebay for cheap just for the bodies.

Like zodak74 mentioned, Snake Man-At-Arms buck would be a great choice for the Tank Man. I just don't like that ridiculous Gobot helmet. I'll try somehow to change it.

I'd want to use Mo-Larr's buck for the Space Man but will require a head that would fit the helmet. Extra He-Man head, like Snake Hunter suggested may work well, yes. I'll try Bow's or Flip Shot's head too to see if they fit also. If I can get an extra lower torso of either Bow or FS, it would look much better for the Space Cadet I think.

The Barbarian I'll leave as is..the one purchased.

based on what i've read, your idea may not totally work.

the set only contains 2 heads. the vikron barbarian head and the tank head. the space helmet goes over the barbarian helm/head.

in addition, i read that the tank and space armor clicks on. it sounds like there are grooves on the vikron buck for the armor to snap into.

so it sounds like you need at least 2 vikron head/bucks and a random buck in order to display all three. you would use the vikron bucks for the the tank and space armors. one of the vikrons head would go on a he-man for barbarian and the other vikron head would go on the spaceman for that look.

personally, i'm buying one. i don't like how the barbarian head turned out so i'll be putting the barbarian armor on an extra he-man. and then i'll use the vikron buck for the tank look. i don't like the spaceman so this works out for me.

Considering the concept, I wouldn't be satisfied with different colored bucks representing on character changing his look over the 3 different sets of parts.

It's an OCD slam dunk, IMO. Buying three is the only way it works.

For those that want to use the Mo-Larr buck, just keep in mind that his gloves might interfere with the gauntlets. You might have to scavenge for more parts than you realize.

But using MAA or a Palace Guard for Tank Top is pure genius.

Hope those parts are easily interchangeable with other bucks and just snap on tight (like the old Batman line of figures from '04) I want only one of these sets and the Wind Raider too.

i'm torn. i might just suck it up and buy 6. 3 moc to display each version. (on matty can you pick which ones you buy?) and 3 to open to display each version aswell. then I'll have two of each costume to customize or sell.

I really like the barbarian version. would be a nice start to a custom movie he-man maybe.

Another idea: Maybe extra Man-E-Faces He-man head can be adapted to the Space Man helmet.

In order to summarize:

Vykron, the Barbarian Man:
- Vykron itself

Tankron, the Military Man:
- MAA, Snake MAA or Palace Guard buck

Skykron, the Space Man:
- Mo-Larr, He-man, King Grayskull, Tryklops buck
- Head: Adapt extra He-man head or MEF extra head
