I don't have a 30th anniversary line thanks to Spector and Photog.
No, I am not opposed to a new character once in a while (provided it's a cool one). I do not, however, want to come to a point where the story has moved so far that it has become something else entirely. That's one of the reason's why I hate New Adventures. On the other hand, I immediately loved King Grayskull and Keldor in MYP because they expanded the universe without changing the basic elements of the story. That's why I love Draego-Man so much, he's a new character that doesn't force the line into a new direction like Spector does.
I hate TMS, but I think that bringing the story into the Son of He-Man era is pretty cool. I have never understood the reluctance to let stories progress...let characters age---all it does is expand the universe---just another part of the universe.
