Why not simply log into 4H forum and ask them instead of creating conspiracy theories??

Are people slowly going mad? The 4H aren't going anywhere.

I do think T4HM are sculpting everything in MOTUC, but am tired of Mattel making them sculpt everything base EXACTLY off the vintage look, which results in figures like Spikor and Snout Spout that don't live up to their full potential. If they were able to add some of their own spin, like they were in 200X, we'd have some MUCH more interesting figures. I'm not suggesting they go totally 200X, but do feel there should be some leeway on characters like Clawful and Sy-Clone when it's obvious a bit o an update (or second head) would go a long way to improving the overall figure.

I would need evidence and, after getting said evidence (GOOD evidence; not "well gee I don't like this, I bet it isn't from my favorite guys") then I would have to decide if I don't like the finished product. So far I like Vykron and how he works, so 4H or not: I'm good.

However I don't see how the 4H could be going anywhere, and if anything is done in-house, then it'll be something small like the armor. So what the heck is the difference? Would the armor be better if you had proof that they HAD made it? Or would you just chide them and tell them to make better stuff next time?

spikor is NOT based EXACTLY off the vintage look, that's why some folks are up in arms. personally I think spikor is fantastic. as much as I liked the vintage figure, it always bugged me that he looked like the lead singer in the song 'night shift' by the commodores. i LOVE that they switched that up.

But Mattel didn't deny it! Ealo was right: Toyguru stated plainly that the Horsemen stopped sculpting Ghostbusters.

most of the time the mattel design team takes the 4HM sculpts and then makes them into working toys. so the 4HM probably sculpted the armor pieces and the mattel design team came up with a way to clip them on.

i have no idea why they messed with stinkor's arms though. that was just weird.

Yes I believe they may have only sculpted a few heads in the Ghostbusters line.

Thank you! It's nice to see that someone actually made an effort to get some facts rather than the typical knee-jerk reaction to unfounded rumors.
