Damn! Messed up, but I am laughin' my bottom off on that one! GOOD ONE!!!

I appreciate this guy really trying to do something for this particular figure after such a backlash. I would love his job but hate to have to go home with this baggage!

For me a holy grail is a figure I must own, no matter what, or even wait for and hope for to be made.

Vykron is definitely my holy crap figure. Because when I first saw pics of him I said, "Holy Crap."

My only comment on the packaging, its great, a really nice size........so why in hell did the Star sisters get that hideous box with all the dead space in it???
I may just be a Gay Pop fan...but I am also the one who wants ALL of the Figures, who wants this line to continue and who is putting my money where my mouth is....are you doing the same?

Yep.......still hate it. Still not going to buy anything from the SDCC sale. Kudos to those who want Vykron, but it's not my kind of thing.

I got to say that this is an awesome looking figure and package. I'm sold on him. I'm an opener so it doesn't matter which I get, but the figure looks great and I think he just opened the door for a Prince Adam v.2 with quick change into He-man.

Really? The video was a bit of a deal breaker for me. It seemed kind of desperate and I got a sense of just how cheap the snap on parts are. Love the idea of these figures, but again the execution is abysmal.

Imagine how much better Spaceman version would have looked with a Roboto/Man-E-Faces crotch piece instead of that big dumpy diaper. Such a shame.

I'll buy two. One for the "Cone-An" and one for "Tank Top", but I'll not buy three because I'm going to have to have a custom Spaceman version made with a Roboto crotch. The two diaper pieces will go on my Lt. Spector and Mighty Spector figures.

That video burst my bubble on the disks of doom skeletor feet... 1 sided?! i thought they'd be two separate halves on all the boots

The more i look at Vykron the more i love the Barbarian - Otto-mon as i refer to him.

conversely the more i see his alternate designs (the ones dropped in the concept phase) the more i hate them

i can certainly see why 1 evolved and 2 were relegated to toy hell

I think i'd have prefered a fully Fledged Barbarian Vykron instead in the same detail as Vikor, i do understand better the concept TG and his team have aimed for, but its too much like an action feature for me, and well we have none or all action features was my understanding of MOTUC

I do feel Sorry for TG, the backlash must be disheartening to endure

Lol I thought exactly the same thing when he said it

Dammit! I burst out laughing when I read this!! Very funny!

Not sold on the figure, even less with such huge pointless packaging
Yeah, it does. I'm surprised by how many people have said this video has "sold them" on Vykron, but whatever. This was a pretty meh video imo. It seemed rushed... in fact didn't Scott refer to everyone as "He-Mans and She-Ravers" at the start? I'm not paying him out for saying the wrong thing, just pointing out (as others have already) that he seemed really nervous!

I think making him a $30 figure was the determined factor of the cheaper approach they took here. Still, he's not as bad as some of you think, he surely beats the Star-Sister's choice IMO.

A bit crude, but I must admit it's a very funny comment...

That's the sort of box that the Star Sisters should have come in.

Vykron should be carded, Marlena style.

Yeah, me too. Why didn't they just fill up the front of the helmet with black (like the original prototype) and make it a solid head?

That was my expectation. The shipping is going to be ridiculous. I wonder if we can ask DR to open our figures for us and ship them loose.

Because then it would have looked exactly like Boba Fett, and they're concerned about copyright infringement.

This is actually the way I feel about NA being considered & being put into MOTUC. BUT...but I understand that this is an all inclusive line for MOTU even if we have to put non MOTU figures into the line. So open the gates for everything. This includes concepts(Sweet's sculpts "Vykron") we've seen & known about for roughly 10 yrs. now.
So does anyone know if the name is actually Vykron or Vykon yet?????
