Teela for me (along with Mer-Man) is my favourite MOTUC figure hands down. Beautiful face sculpt (really puts the BG Teela face to shame), great detailing on her dress and super weapons and snake armour.
what's funny is there is just something about this face and paint app that not quite anyone has matched. Dont get me wrong there's something special about adora as well, but theres just something strong yet very vunerable about this face and paint app that I just adore.

Of course BG teela seems a little ...harder, but then that may be appropriate.

what's Zodac missing? His chair? Hardly likely that'd be a part of someone else. So what were you thinking he was lacking?

very true. a few people are unhappy for their own particular reasons, but I think specifically overall this is a fantastic SDCC reveal so far.

As for Teela blog, I'm certain it is just ready to be printed so it was. Why all the suspicion of Scott? Oh well. Well written, insightful, and interestng. I also dont have a problem with her dress. I think technically I would prefer that dress over the waist cut we have on SheRa 2.o for instance. But that is fine too.

But part of what makes teela so great to me, is she is wearing a dress, there is no cut. I agree material could ahve been softer to allow rotation, I'd like to see that in the future instead of waist cut built in.

But I'll take what i can get. Alot of buts. hehe.

I do agree that Teela is very nice (and I'm REALLY happy she got her Snake Armour this time around!). A Teela 2.0 would be great (with waist twist!), which could help get a Goddess 2.0 eventually. Besides giving her a blonde head or a 200X long ponytail, I'm just not sure what else they could do with a 2.0 to make her really something extra special (besides the added/fixed articulation). I'd still want one, mind you.
Long ponytail hair, certainly. what else could they do to make it more 2.0 ala Bubble power?...well, especially since the spear is already in her tool evidently, pack her with that instead of the snake staff, or with it. Also could definately do the more maroon colourout for the weapons, ect, not that I want that. could just save that for a weapons pack.

Seriously though, what else could we get? based on tooling dollars, evidently the head itself would be worth the price.

I agree - this is my only complaint about Teela (but then, if the plastic was too soft, it'd probably tear if you used the waist-twist too much). Otherwise, she's a fantasic figure - from the number of accessories, to the detailing & face sculpt. One of the best.

I dont read it that way. I find it ok, if not interesting. Perhaps he is just explaining, and those with ill will toward him are predisposed to dislike it, or look for things to dislike?

Ultimately it's his blog. People who enjoy it should keep reading it, and if you dont like them, luckily you dont have to.

But I see it as more just filling in the blanks, since that is what the blogs are about. And they are his blogs. I apprecieate his insights and candor when he feels able to do so. Frankly as often as he is personally attacked on these forums, and in terribly insulting and offensive ways, especially considering the time he takes to connect as a fan, I expect and somewhat enjoy his commnets about his work on this line in the positive.

People will see what they wish to see. Who knows. I like his blogs. I think it's not about ego, but showing his position, trying to help those that are antagonistic understand, and strengthen Line relations.

I refrained from making my usuall derogitory comments about the blog this time because I felt he wasn't really talking about himself AS MUCH as he usually does. I gave 'em a break.

Plus he's got enough to worry about... He may try and hide it, but he's nervous about something.

ok, jokes aside, reading these blogs is always amusing. thanks for posting, fball.

i'm whishing too that 4h will manage a way to restore the thighs articulation for female figures.
i thought italy was in the eastern hemipshere?
anyway I stripped my queen marlena and she has a waist and thigh articulation, why can't that be the female buck going forward? the thig articulation is to me the most important.

I remenberd when I first saw a phoot of Teela´s prototype!!
I loved the figure and bought 2 Teelas for me!! One to be displayed with the snake armor and other without the armor!
In my opinion she keeps as the best female figure of the series until now!!
