I agree. Give me a vintage Mantenna without his legs fused together and I'll be very happy!!

As for the upcoming reveal, I'll guess Lord Dactys.

Wow! Shocked to hear that you guys want Mantenna's legs to be like the vintage figure. I for one would like to see the vintage design fused with the Filmation look...

-Mantenna's head should be mostly Filmation styling.
-His body should have at least 90% vintage figure cues.
-He should definitly have 4 legs... And he will, because when I speak, Mattel listens.

I'm expecting Rattlor or Mosquitor for September and Dragon Blaster Skelly for the variant slot.

    http://www.he-man.org/forums/boards/...ge-or-Staction

The staction is more popular than the vintage or Filmation versions. But the overwhelming vote is for Mantenna to have all of the best attributes.

-Mantenna's head should be mostly Filmation styling.
-His body should have at least 90% vintage figure cues.
-He should definitly have 4 legs... And he will, because when I speak, Mattel listens.

Some people want the oldest Mantenna. I'd want the best possible version of Mantenna. The ultimate version. By all means, make him better.

That would be great I'd love that line-up. I have a feeling were getting Sea Hawk this year also, Toyguru mentioned they got something else Filmation into 2012 and I think it's Sea Hawk.

I'd be quite happy with a station influenced Mantenna. The vintage toy is just weird looking. Is there a poll for his desired look?

Did he?! Oooh... I thought the earliest they could fit anyone else in was 2013....?

Another interesting question would be should Mantenna have an action feature that allows for his eyes to pop out?

Or would he come with 2 heads... One with his eyes poping out, and the other with them in his head?

Why does everyone keeping hoeping for a Skeletor variant this year? There hasn't been both a He-Man and Skeletor variant released in the same year thus far, why would this year be different?

Classics has turned me off from a couple of characters who I thought rocked in 200X. I wouldn't want Mantenna to join that list ever growing list. I hope Mattel and the 4H have heard the "make him resemble the staction" cries, since the staction embodies all of his best elements.

My guess is that it's probably Dragon Blaster Skeletor or Terror Claws Skeletor (out of order, but easier to do than to tool a Dragon mini-figure).
I would agree about this regarding Mantenna, my most wanted figure. The vintage figure was good, but the staction was out of the this world! Please keep some of these elements like the four separate legs. I didn't like the two legs fused together.

Well, I like my MOTUC figures chunky-style which is what the vintage figure is to me.

The problem, MegaMaxi is that everyone has their own definition of "ultimate" version. My ultimate version would be chunky and look like a 50's monster.

The Filmation version is too skinny and looks scared all the time (kind of like a blue Don Knotts)

And the staction version looks like he's choking and waiting for the Heimlich maneuver to be applied to him...

So, like I said, everybody has their own "ultimate" version. There is no one "ultimate" version.

I thought the hint of Mosquitor pretty much nailed that he was the next figure out after Frosta, who was supposed to be August's subscription figure, but then she got bumped back and would be released alongside the actual Sept figure. If it's anybody else, I'll be surprised.

I'm sure however they do it Mantenna will be awesome. I have faith. As far as SeaHawk...I think he would actually make a good sub-exclusive figure. Good way to lock in the POP'ers and Filmationadicts.

I think that's kind of what Mattel tried with Shadow Weaver but admittedly Sea Hawk is slightly less prominent to some fans in the POP/Filmation roster. I'd prefer to see him as a monthly figure, though.

My bet is on Mosquitor as well.
I still don't think we'll get another Filmation character in 2012. TG said the soonest they could do was 2013, he said they slipped in other stuff for 2012 (so no Filmation).

TG clearly states "2012 will be a bit Filmation light, but we did get some other stuff in there. Stay tuned, not all of 2012 has been revealed!". so that means there is something else Filmation based coming in 2012.

Or not. He said light on Filmation, so they got other stuff in. After they got Filmation rights, the Horsemen had to rush Shadow Weaver in, so they could reveal at least one Filmation character for 2012, but they didn't want to bump any more regular figures for Filmation. He said on numerous accounts, even on RGD, I think, there won't be any more Filmation characters in 2012.
I guess we'll see come July.
