i originally planned something different, but i'm already happy with this simple touch:
I didn't want to paint over the spade symbol, so I decided to make some kind of decal. I painted a piece of paper from both sides with red and green and coated the paint with gloss varnish. Afterwards I cut out a circle of appropriate size. The "decal" fits snuggly in there without needing to glue it on. Also I have the opportunity to flip it to display the other colour (or even remove it to display the spade...)
Which side do you prefer? Red or green?

I would like to put a green translucent plastic bubble piece over the spades symbol & paint the wire details green to give it that powered by the suite look.
I dont know how to make the piece?
found nothing at craft stories. I could make a 1/2 ball out of clay cut it in half then bake it, next cast a mold, then use a translucent plastic with green dye. but i dont have a pressure pot to keep air bubbles out of the piece. also this would be a lot of time & money. any other suggestions?
