That's a Justice League Unlimited Mongul. AFi got the scoop that they'd managed to change the skin color from a sickly pink to the proper yellow before the machines were turned on. Have a feeling that he's on the desk for some future video about the color change. If you want to see close-ups of the figure and the rest of the pack... http://www.actionfigureinsider.com/m...ongol-and-more

Thanks to TG for the vid and cant wait for Spikor.

And for the people complaining about the quality, put yourself in front of a camera and try to just talk with no script or anything. Its not that easy, ask PD its not as easy as people think it is.

Honestly no idea why TG still tries to do cool things for us.

Glad to hear that Spikor's arm is compatible with other "arm" weapons.

People have made valid constructive criticisms about video quality being low resolution which in turn makes it very difficult to see the toys. Nobody has commented on the quality of TG's video demeanor or his script.

    .
Yeah... I'm in favor of better quality film... or at least setting the toys on the table and zooming in or Something...

During the Vykron one, he made a specific attempt to show us how the boots clipped on on and arms... and I STILL can't get a good look at it.

    Why NOT?!

Anytime Trap Jaw can get more weapons, I'm all for it. Anytime they want to encourage ANY mix an matching I'm glad

More options are better then Less options.

Is there a reason anyone would want Spikor's weapon to NOT be switchable?

I kind of think it's funny that people are criticizing him for getting a camera out really quickly and making a quick video to just show off some of the stuff that's coming up and we might have questions on. I think it's pretty cool. I know we all want detailed videos and things, but that's not really what these are for and I'm fine with leaving that to online reviewers like Pixel Dan. I mean, people are free to criticize... I just find it amusing as it's such a little thing. The alternative in the past was no video. I don't think a lot of planning went into these, and if there was a lot of planning they probably wouldn't happen because there's no time for it.

As for where he is, I'm assuming that it's his cubicle. Mattel sure sounds noisy! But it gets that way where I work too some times.

Awesome video Toyguru, thanks for taking your time to do another video. I can't wait for Spikor, I love that all of the arm attachments are swappable between figures.

How many cups of coffee do they drink you think? I think that's where TG is faltering, cut back on the coffee.

Oh I agree... I love the fact that he's doing these.

I just wish I could see them more clearly. It's like he's actively trying to answer questions that I specifically had... but when the video is done, I still don't know...

And honestly, they're easy fixes, move the camera slower... get a little closer when he points things out... The kind of criticism that could be quickly corrected for the NEXT video set he does.

I don't KNOW... He was asked to take pictures of his office/desk/cubicle before, and stated that Mattel did no allow him to do that... Usually when asked 'what kind of figures he displays there'... and I THINK the last answer was just Spector and one other non-MOTU toy...

I wonder if he got permission, or if it's a spare 'dressed up' cubicle?

I'm sorry but these videos are awful.

(Sorry TG, nothing personal...but if you're gonna do something, take the time to do it right.) IMHO.

(um... e.g. Stinkor? ...sorry just had that after thought.)

One thing is certain and very obvious, now : TG is trying to do his best to shake and correct the bad feeling fans got from Vykron. The last (crappy) videos he made, and the second Mosquitor teaser are proof for this. The situation is quite desperate, since there are also numerous issues that were not addressed and fixed (delays, QC, more DR stupidity), and promises that were not kept (so far, at least... Cf. the new "improved" Digital River CS).

And the season of pushing for the 2013 subs is approaching, so I guess it's time for some desperate efforts, and these videos illustrate that point. I'm not sure it will be enough to prevent a new decrease regarding subscriptions, though...
