Well, as you may know I had hoped that Horde Prime actually was Hordak who travelled back in time, but in general the bio doesn't sound too bad.

The Griffin looks superb and Prime is so black!!! KEWL!!!!!!
Only one of anybody.
I agree; in my canon; SMAA is just an evil clone of Duncan. I like the idea of a Snake Man At Arms being used to bolster the Snake Men, but not at the expense of the hero we all know and love. I also think Hordak should be destined to overthrow his brother. His mastery of magic and technology would be the counterpoint to Horde Prime's powers.
Embarressing & poorly thought-out bios, as usual.

Wasn't Griffin suposed to have tallon feet on the front too? The figure and the card back have the Battle cat feet.![]()
Looking for a reasonable price for Fangman and maybe king He-man and Strobo.
OH MAN!
Horde Prime lost some paint apps!
The once grey areas on his shoulders, chest and belt seem to have disappeared and there's no indication of the silver rivets...

Press down on dragon's head. It will bite off your frickin' fingers !!!
I'm not a fan of everything about Snake MAA at all, so this will all get ignored. I think turning him into a Snake man and thus making him "evil" is childish storytelling that lacks imagination
WOW I am very impressed with all of them, but especially the Griffin!!!

I like the Griffin's bio, especially the part saying that several hundreds were used against Grayskull tower during the first Ultimate Battleground !
Horde Prime's bio seems a bit confused to me... So that guy seems to be 5000 years old and still alive, and he's the one responsible for the techno-organic virus... He's also responsible for wiping out most of the cosmic enforcers, and He-Ro is his archenemy. Interesting...
Snake Man-at-Arms' bio really sucks (as does the figure), and I'm happy that in my cannon, there's no SMAA ! I won't miss this figure at all...
yeah i have noticed this on a color figures, listen to TG and Eric on the podcasts, it sounds like paint apps can add a lot to the costs.
Im hoping with the new higher price next year we dont lose these anymore.
Its making some of the figures look a little "cheaper" and the weapons are getting it the worst sadly
the ignore list is my new best friend
Awesome stuff!!! I love it ALL! It makes me want to do several things:
-I'm getting 2 Primes: one with the "secret" head in full regalia will be the true HP; the UK comic head on a mish-mash body of HP and Hordak parts will be his more public persona, a loyal toady who portrays the leader...I'm working on a bio for him.
-I may get 3 Griffins eventually-I'm loving that thing more and more! As with my Shadow Beasts (Wodash & Steab), I'll let my wife name them.
-I may get a second SMAA to use his body for a Tank-Top figure using the Vykron set. (I want to whip up some figures of his fallen gladiatorial foes.)![]()
Not to sound like a creepy cheerleader for Uki, but it's nice to know there is at least one person on this forum who is extremely positive & friendly all the time. I don't think I could be that nice even if you paid me. If we ever give out awards for "forum member of the month", Uki gets my vote. -Mr. Shokoti
Jungle Attack He-Man in Classics!
Screw YOU Mattel. Little do you know!! Actually Clamp Champ used a potion (created from Teela) that made Duncan SEEM dead to the untrained eye. This was done to trick King Hsss so they could take MAA to Greyskull to be cured. Yeah THATS IT, thats the ticket YEAH.
He cant be dead...he just CANT...![]()

Fear is faith in failure
I've been a major fan of bios so far (as a whole concept, I know there are bad bios out there)... but this set of bios has put me to think twice if I'm ever going to see the bios with the same enthusiasm again.
Griffin bio is neutral, no comments.
Vykron bio feels as out of place as the tank-head outfit. I don't like it... there's something forced in there that just doesn't fit. The importance of the character is diminished by this bio (compare that to Vykor's). I thought Vykron was going to be one of the He-men. Also I don't see the death of Vykron as a needed step for Gygor to claim the Vine Jungle; being as mighty as he is, he might as well have passed that show.
Horde Prime bio is almost neutral... but I feel it diminishes Hordak... and after seeing the great profile the 200X series made for Hordak we got used to see him as an extraordinary powerful being... not saying that the HP's bio says the opposite, but it portrays Hordak as obedient and manageable.
Finally, the worst of all the set of bios, the one that really hurts: the killing tradition in MOTUC went too far... Ok, the bio makes sense, but I don't see the need to do that to one of the most beloved characters in the MOTU world (yeah, IMO even more than Sorceress). I know Duncan was not inmortal, but killing him as a consequence of being transformed into a Snake Man... it is miserable, without honor... just not fair. As I said some months ago: the recurrent resource in bios to turn neutral or good guys into evil warriors by effect of spells or any form of mind wiping is already overused... and now it is used to kill MAA! that's too much...

Thanks for posting the pics! Great for us without facebook. Loved the bios! Even though I hate it when character dies, this really wasn't that bad, executed better than the last one. Am I the only one bothered by the "varied" real names? Wouldn't it be better to have an equivalent to latin names for the beasts? Like the ancient eternian word for griffin instead...
Can't any creature be native to Eternia! The Shadow Beasts were created by Marzo, now the Griffin was brought to Eternia, the Snake men are from another planet too! I'd prefer these creatures actually evolved on Eternia not all be brought from other places.
Hate the idea of MAA becoming evil and being killed as a bad guy. Daring and interesting but not something I like so shall ignore it lol.
Horde Primes bio was ok. Would prefer Hordak overthrow him at some point.
Will have to add the extra paint apps to Horde Prime myself.

...Fascinating stuff!!I don't think it diminshes Hordak any... If anything, it shows that Horde-Prime feared his "ambitions" just enough to distance himself from him! Horde-Prime basically being the "ancient evil" that He-Man & She-Ra were "destined" to defeat is interesting. I wonder where that leaves the Nameless One though? Snake-Man-at-Arms dying tragically , IMHO, is actually pretty cool. Contrary to some beliefs, "death" in comics is quite a story-motivator when used properly. (Gwen Stacy, Captain Marvel, Jean Grey, Uncle Ben...) Sure, cheap "shock-value" deaths tend to get overused these days, but in modern comics, "events" are what tend to drive sales, after all. Vykron's bio just cracks me up!

I would've expected Fisto to take his place given the fact that he used to be the man-at-arms before. MMA dying is inevitable but the whole permanently being a snakeman doesn't sit well with me. That's why I don't pay much attention to the bios anymore. The story in my head will always be the one I follow. As for Horde prime and the griffin. I'm looking forward to them. Have to snag an extra griffin later on ebay or something when I have more money. Same goes for the snakemen army in august.
OMG!!! You killed Man-At-Arms!!! YOU *******S!!!![]()
Seriously though, the Griffin and Horde Prime look great. Snake Man-At-Arms, however, I'm still somewhat TAKEN FOR THE ASS™ on. Good thing he comes with a mini comic!!
Those wings on the Griffin made a HELLUVA difference! Thank god they made those right!

BLÅÇK FLØWËRŠ!!!!
I have to say, the bios don't normally phase me one way or the other, but I really dislike Snake MAA's bio, but there again, I really dislike the figure and concept in general. This is the first MOTUC that I'm strongly considering not putting in the display.
I'm fine with the others, but this is something of an underwhelming crop for me.
