As for Horde Prime, I would have liked a picture of his face with his bio.
Yeah... Honestly, I just can't understand why they just didn't show us the pic in that specific bio. It is even more stupid when you know the "secret" Horde Prime face was shown in a test-shot picture revealed on this very forum.

-I may get 3 Griffins eventually-I'm loving that thing more and more! As with my Shadow Beasts (Wodash & Steab), I'll let my wife name them.

-I may get a second SMAA to use his body for a Tank-Top figure using the Vykron set. (I want to whip up some figures of his fallen gladiatorial foes.)
I'm getting 2 of each, except the Griffin's I think I am getting 4 maybe 5. I don't have enough money for 100. I wish they would get the adding additional items to you sub worked out. I would make it 5 for sure.

I really dig both Griffin and Horde Prime, including their bios. HP is becoming one of my most anticipated figures.

Snake MAA is still taken for the ass in my eyes. Happy for those who like him, though!

Does anyone else find it odd that on the back of Snake Man-at-Arms card only Horde members are pictured along side him? Why not King Hiss, or BG Teela, there is not mention of the Horde in his bio at all.

Also why is Shadow Weaver the more pinkish tone of the prototype and not the color that we really got?

Snake Man-At-Arms. It's good, except for the part where he dies. Seriously, why are they killing off ALL the characters? This seems so stupid to me. *shakes head* The bios are supposed to make as many toys possible (according to Toyguru), but they keep killing off all their characters...so how will variants be explained? MAA, for example. What if all of a sudden, everyone wants Snake Armour MAA or the Scuba one from the show? How will they explain that? Zombified MAA? Come on now.
There is nothing saying that variants need to be released in chronological order. The bios sure have not been. There is no reason the can't go back and do variants of Duncan. This bio just covers his time as a snake man, which happens to end with his death. Just like they can still do variants of the Sorceress, like Teela'na and a 200x variant.

I personally like his bio, every body dies, this just tells the story of when Duncan dies. And not every hero dies an epic, self sacrificing death. Sometimes heros die in battle with little fanfare. Read the Deathly Hallows and see how many of the Heros in Harry Potter died in the thick of battle with no big end or heroic act...

This bio just leaves way for new characters to step up, including Clamp Champ and Teela as the Sorceress. Maybe there is reasons they are killing off the Sorceress and Duncan, for the development of Teela's character.

Meh having Duncan go out to Clamp Champ is just kinda flat IMO. Duncan is a major character that has been around since the start, so he should at least have some kind of emotionally charged "end." If he'd been made to fight Teela in the end and she was forced to kill him and then they had some emotional scene when he reverted back to Duncan, it might've given his death a bit more impact. Or, if he'd done the classic Darth Vader style self sacrifice and backstabbed King Hiss at a crucial moment, it'd be sweet, too.

But as is, it just seems like he goes out like a punk. And to Clamp Champ lol. Just kind of a lame end to one of the biggest MOTU characters.

Horde Prime's circuitry on his arms are not even getting a silver wash or anything to make them pop out? Really disappointing. The details are there, it would look so much better with a little paint job!!! really disappointed with that aspect. Otherwise he looks awesome.

Man-at-Arms dies? Wow. Nasty. I now have even more reasons to despise the 200X cartoon, as this was clearly inflenced by that continuity. Well, I guess everyone has to die one day... Pity Ducan bit the dust in his most controversial toy incarnation!

I'm not buying the Gryffin beast but it actually looks AWESOME.

To everybody who is speaking out against Duncan's fate...

Yes, he is an iconic character to the MOTU franchise... BUT... the good guys can not win every time, and not all of them can survive with minor scrapes and boo boos. They're involved in a war against evil and powerful forces so yes, some important characters will, unfortunately, perish. That's why it's called war. Otherwise He-Man and Skeletor would be settling their differences over tea and biscuits and a game of Yahtzee.

I don't really have a problem with Man-at-Arms dying. I just hate the whole idea of him turning into a snake man and changing sides.

Completely agree - I just think the death they gave him is kind of trivial. I like the snakeman angle, but then for him to just die after it seems more like they took one of the most important characters and had him fizzle out.
BUT, not gonna whine about it, this is what you get when you're pro-death in motu.

    Horde Prime's bio art....Well let's say it's different.

And so "Horde Empire" get destroyed or defeated by He-Man and She-Ra.......not by Skeletor.

Snake Man-At-Arm get killed by Clamp Champ?

True, but I'm disappointed that a hero ends up killing Man-at-Arms. To me, that is a waste. I would rather him have a Darth Vader moment and turn on King Hiss.

I really like these bios. SMAA is a wicked looking figure...I'm on the fence about getting an extra to use as a 200x version. No....i will definately be getting 2 of him. haha.

Not sure about the Horde World part. Kind of wierd but whatever.

Nothing surprising in the griffin bio. Just a nicely rounded bio.

Hatin' on Clamp Champ? He's the man!

But I agree. If MAA had to go (I think he shouldn't have died period), he should have gone out like a hero. He's only like one of the top five characters in the entire mythos.

SMAA should have choked to death whilst trying to swallow a Royal Guard. They could have done an extra snake-head with two legs sticking out the mouth (with removeable armour on them, of course).

I don't have a problem with M-A-A dying. It's sad, and he's a great character. But it's just in the bios. We know that the DC comics are going their own way, and so to is probably any other new media. So it's not like the MOTUC have any more impact than we let them.

I do REALLY like the idea that M-A-A turns and then takes out Hiss though, before dying. That'd be cool.

No. The Griffin figure has always been displayed with feline paws in the front.

I'm not really digging the bios. It is too bad they killed off MAA before he could at least do one last heroic act.

Really stoked for all of these; all of them look really great. Totally expecting Clamp Champ now sooner rather than later. (But, then again, who isn't at this point.)
    Say cheese!!!
