I think the deaths are a fine addition and it does allow the story to progress. However, MAA could and probably will return in some capacity, if even as a ghost or full-on robot body he might've built to put his conscience in. I do not like the NA story though and they need to alter it heavily. He-Man needs Battle Cat and his hidden identity. The NA stuff used to feel like a cheap Star Wars so i hope they keep more races and characters like Buzz-Off and Stratos with him. It could just get bland if they don't keep it diverse instead of a bunch of human friends.

Didn't read the bios entirely, but one thing is for sure:
CLAMP CHAMP IS COMING SOON!![]()
MOTUC needs:Tung Lashor, Rokkon/Stonedar and bunch of Hordes!
WANTED: Minicomics !!!Swords NEEDED !!!
MY FEEDBACK
This has to be the BEST month which is June to get Matty figures and I really can't wait. I think I'd almost switch months if I could have the griffin NOW and that horde prime cause those are making me giddy.
By the Power of Grey Skull!
Whereas I don't have a problem with characters dying, I'm rather disappointed that Clamp Champ pretty much kills Duncan. I wanted Duncan to die with a bang, like regaining his senses and detonating a bomb within Viper Tower, taking several enemies with him. Judging from the bio his death is just lame.

I too am less than thrilled with the implications of Snake Man-At-Arms' MOTUC bio, but the writers were clever enough not to explicitly state "death" in their wording. A mortal wound is one that, when untreated, will lead to death. It does not even necessarily have to be an immediate or even a quick death. A small paper cut that gets infected with something like staph can kill you if left untreated. A mortal wound is reclassified if treatment is successful and the victim lives. SMAA's bio only goes so far as to describe what happened up to the events it recounts about the second Ultimate Battleground. We know a version of "New Adventures" happens afterwards, but nothing is hinted at there in SMAA's bio, nor is there any mention of Duncan being definitively deceased in that timeframe from the bios we have so far. Mattel has a pretty obvious back door in place to keep Duncan around throughout the rest of the Masters of the Universe Classics saga.

It's weird - I always thought the vintage Clamp Champ figure was very boring.
But now, with the new character background (at first royal bodyguard, his connection to Duncan and CC being the new MAA) it really makes me want the figure... I hope he'll get some additional tech upgrades though.
And we wouldn't want him any other way, now would we?![]()

Sigh... First Sorceress, now Man-At-Arms. Gotta say, this new canon's pretty depressing so far. I'd really hoped for a last-minute reversal to bring him back to the good guys for the final battle.
We also learned that He-Man and She-Ra bring down Horde Prime, although we don't know how. Nice to know that jerk gets what's coming to him. Now kill Hsss for what he did to Duncan!
CyberV... FOR VICTORY!
I suppose we can assume that CC mortally wounds MAA ACCIDENTALLY - considering CC's prime weapon is non-lethal.
Still, choosing CC was a dumb idea, considering this. He's one of few heroic characters whose weapon is non-lethal.

Eh. For the record, making all these familial connections can be a crutch for bad writing. I still think the Keldor/Randor thing is redunkulous because you'd still have to explain the obvious difference in physiology (blue skin, pointed ears). Most importantly, it doesn't add anything meaningful to the characters; they never access that part of their lives anyway!
The only family connection that worked for me was Teela/Sorceress. If I had my druthers, I'd make Zodak the son of Melaktha.
Your support means more research for the Myostatin-challenged.
I would have rather seen Teela be the one to have killed him. Only cause her magic wasn't strong enough to bring him back fully. And Duncan pleads with her to do it before he reverts back to his snake form. Would have made for better story!
Well we knew he was coming! Many expected it when we got the Royal Guard set. Many believe that the black soldier to be Clamp Champ.
I FULLY SUPPORT THE INCLUSION OF ILLUMINA IN MOTUC!

So the difference between Clamp Champ and Duncan is...Clamp Champ makes this look good?
GOAT MAN for MOTUC IN 2013... please... c'mon... pretty please?
