    3) Batman Forever
    4) Superman IV

    7) Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance

Ooh. Forgot about these 3. But thankfully I steered clear of these piles of dung so I never saw them nor have any desire to do so.

    1) Spider-Man 3 - The evil jazz montage. It's unforgivable
    2) Fantastic Four II: Rise of the Silver Surfer - Mr. Fantastic's dance scene. I was embarrassed for everyone involved
    3) Superman Returns - The only superhero movie I can think of that's more boring than Watchmen
    4) Watchmen - Only slightly less boring than Superman Returns. Slightly
    5) Elektra - Worse than Daredevil only because the lead actress was contractually obligated to do it
    6) Daredevil - Ben Affleck as a superhero action star = casting fail
    7) Ghost Rider - Blackheart is Ricky Fitts from American Beauty in a suit? Really?
    8) Catwoman - How do you ruin a character as cool/fun/hot as Catwoman? This movie found a way
    9) Batman & Robin - Congratulations, you nearly killed the Batman franchise
    10) Kick Ass - ignores the marginally interesting premise after the first 10 minutes
    11) Fantastic Four - Only ranked this low because it was so easy to forget
    12) Green Lantern - space punching fail

In case you're wondering, I haven't seen Ghost Rider 2 or Jonah Hex.

Yeah, it always gets on the worst lists, but I still love it for the score, Faye Dunaway, the occasionally cute one-liners, the omegahedron/magic thing that actually kind of worked I thought, Peter Cooke, and Peter O'Toole just because it was the first role of his I saw (not counting parts of The Stuntman). But for all that, what a dopey love interest, unconvincing monster, uneven pacing, and lame final battle FX! Plus is it wrong that I thought the dumb hippies in Argo City were hard to care about saving? And how do you get knocked out just by sitting down in a runaway killdozer anyway?

I give The Phantom a pass too just for Zane's delivery of the line "Tie her up" (no, not really).

My problem with making a list is some super hero movies looked too bad to watch. For example I haven't seen Steel, the Ghost Rider movies, or Catwoman.

Of the ones I've seen the lamest ones were:

    1. League of Extraordinary Gentlemen
    2. Batman and Robin
    3. Captain America (1990s)
    4. Three way tie: all Fantastic Four movies to date
    5. Judge Dredd
    6. Howard the Duck
    7. Tank Girl
    8. Men in Black 2
    9. Barb Wire
    10. Elektra

Honorable sucky mention to: Punisher with Dolph Lundgren, Red Sonja, Spawn (yeah, didn't like it).

I know I'm crazy, but I liked Frank Miller's The Spirit. I know, I don't know why either, but it probably involves brain damage.

I'm with you on all of these, Benny, except for Batman and Robin. I don't care if it almost killed the franchise. It was worth the price of admission just to see Uma as Poison Ivy. Sigh... Be still, my beating heart: http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__...urman%29_3.jpg

Everything in this paragraph is true. Put it all together and you get an awesome movie.

Can't believe some of these on the worst lists! But that's happens, I guess.

    1. Batman & Robin
    2. Catwoman
    3. Superman IV: The Quest for Peace
    4. Spawn
    5. Elektra
    6. Ghost Rider
    7. Captain America (1990s)
    8. Superman Returns
    9. X-men Origins: Wolverine
    10. X3

I actually have a real soft spot for Supergirl. I watched it quite a few times as a kid. Even though I know it's not that great, Helen Slater is such a fantastic Supergirl, and I love the scene by the lake where she's flying around.

    In no particular order.

Catwoman (I love the "real" character Catwoman, no idea what WB was thinking with this)
    Batman & Robin
    Hulk
    Superman IV
    X-Men Origin: Wolverine
    Spider-man 3
    The Spirit
    Steel
    Punisher War Zone
Batman Gotham Knight (I really hate a lot of the animation styles used)

    1) Batman and Robin (no need to explain)
    2) Catwoman (Selina Kyle is the only one allowed to be Catwoman!)
    3) Hulk, Ang Lee version (silly comic panels and Hulk Dogs?!)
    4) Superman Returns (clung to the Donner films way too much)
    5) Superman IV (terrible effects and worst villain ever)
    6) Superman III (aka Richard Pryor featuring Superman)
    7) Steel (what were they thinking?)
    8) Spider-Man 3 (they could have done more with Venom)
    9) Daredevil tied with Elektra (boring)
    10) Batman Forever (stupid neon)
