How will you display Vykron?

I'll get 2 sets:

-One I'll alternate as Vykron from time to time. He'll sport his "original" barbarian look, the other two outfits, and the extra armors included in the past Weapons Paks.

-The second set, combined with parts from other figures, will be used to portray his foes from the arena. I'm working on Bios for each, but the skinny is that "Tank-Top" was sent from a militant planet to test a dimensional vortex generator and the Spaceman was a bounty hunter hired by Horde Prime who tracked his prey to Eternia and attempted to snatch his bounty (who'd been forced into gladiatorial combat) from the arena, getting beheaded by Vykron in the process. (Combo'd the Fetts' stories with a MOTU twist there.)

I'll probably dig up my old Army-Builder Bios thread and share them at some point. I'm also working on one for Horde Prime's second head...

90% of the time he will be Barbarian. I will change them around sporadically...as I do with the other figures with different looks.

Except for Trap-Jaw & Marlena...I bought 2 of them. I will be happy enough with 1 Vykron.

Gygor is worth it. Especially now that I can display him holding each half of Vykron in his hands! You should get him.

That's what I meant, he can still be '3 separate characters' on your shelves, right? What makes the bios have so much authority that they influence your buying the figures?

Example: suppose they make Procrustus, a character I never knew before, but now I like. If the bio was to suck, I would still buy that figure, just because of what it looks like. Don't mean to start an argument here, just trying to understand your reasoning.

1) He looks cheap. i just don't like him all that much.
2) The snap on armor means his backside looks REALLY cheap, and that's a huge deterrent for me. I can't ignore the fact that it's three of the same guy with some extra crap snapped on.
3) Barbarian and Boba Fett have the same face. Hard to look past that.
4) He's more expensive than he has any right to be. I'd happily pick up a three-pack at $60 if all of the armor was fully sculpted.
5) I'll be able to pretend he's three separate guys easier if I put the extra armor on different bucks....meaning I don't need to buy him three times.
6) It's just how I feel. I don't expect anyone else to agree.

I'm getting three, displaying one with each costume. They will be flanked by Vikor and Demo-Man (until/unless we get a figure of the other prototype, then he will flank the trio with Vikor, and Demo-Man will go elsewhere).

I'm gonna pick up four of them at SDCC. I'll display 3 of them, one in each of the costumes. And keep the fourth in the box.
I dig the idea of this being a concept figure much like Vikor & Demo Man.
No interest really on the bio he's been given.

I'm still leaning towards buying two and finding a spare buck somewhere so that I can create all three looks simultaneously. I like the idea of having the original trio on display at the same time.

I will change his outfit each month just like I change each of my characters with different looks (i.e. heads, faces, eyes, etc.)

Gona buy the one and use the extra parts for my extra figures.

- Vykron himself will be the barbarian guy.

- The tank parts are going on an extra Faker so he's all blue and roboty (gona make him a new character).

- The space parts are gona go on my extra Mo-Larr, and I'm going to rig an extra He-Man head to fit under the helmet. Hopefully it works, but if it doesn't...well, I'll MAKE something work.
