What is the best way to de-flock Moss Man?

After searching, I only found info on deflocking the vintage version and not sure if I should use the same process. Seems most people recommended googone for the flocking and glue for the vintage. Is it the same for the classics version?
Should the figure be soaked for a period of time of just use standard directions per the bottle?

Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I tried soaking him in water for days and though it de-flocked him a bit, it did way more to loosen up all of his joints. Rubbing alcohol is WAY more efficient, the flocking sloughs right off him.

I got mine at Walmart. It removes all the flocking.
Beware though it will also remove the small touches of brown paint on the arms and legs as well as the green paint on the hands and feet.
I had no issues with the paint on his faces.
Attached is how mine turned out.

I soaked mine in water for a while. to loosen up the flock. Then used a toothbrush or a scrub brush to remove the flock. I then used Testors Paint Thinner that can be bought in hobby stores or Walmart. Got a ziplock bag. Then I took him apart. Then poured the bottle into the bag. Then tossed int he parts and let him soak for like an hour. Then I pulled out a piece and scrubbed off the glue. Then I washed all the prts with soap and water. Then reassembled him. Then painted him.
