MotUC Mini Comic / Barefoot He-man

    Hey guys,

this is my latest custom. Barefoot He-man from the first Alcala mini comic.

    Recipe:
Main body - parts of He-Ro and Prince Adam
    Head - He-Man
    Loincloth & shins - Demo-Man
Feet - Moss-Man (flocking removed and modeled fur sanded down)
Spear - 3d modeled and printed by shapeways

I would really have liked to give him bare forearms but unfortunately I saw no possibility doing these in a good looking way.

I like it,now we have a better idea about how Oo-Larr will be done.
Where are they? Where are your friends now? Tell me about the loneliess of good, He-Man. Is it equal to the loneliness of evil?

Demo-Man's forearms could have worked. his bracers seem removable all that was needed was to sculpt a bit to cover the gap.

Yup, I thought about that possibility, too. But I was not sure enough that I would be able to sculpt the missing part good enough. I did not want to have him with ugly forearms

Excellently done! Longer hair and bare forearms, and he'd be perfect!

    I agree. Still looks amazing.
If I may give a suggestion:
Use an exacto knife, to cut the details of the bracers, and fill the "innies" with sculpey (if any).
Use sandpaper to even the areas. And use Vallejo Paint to match the rest of the skin. Might want to mix the color until you get the right tone. This is the tricky part of the suggestion, but I believe in what you are doing, and this might work.

    Still, it's an awesome figure.

I did cut his toenails of course . The colors I used for painting are from Vallejo. I had to mix some colors to get a matching skintone.

Ya... it was a silly question I never looked close at MM's toenails. But again... great custom and shapeways items!!

I've been thinking about doing this since I saw the Demo Man shins. Great work and thanks for sharing!
