    Got an extra Stinkor (along with Princess Adora reissue and Snake Mountain stands) so I don't have to wait until my subs ship with Mighty Spector. No problems on MattyCollector today.

    Yep! You should know better! Minnesota is the land of taxation!

    In any case, yes, sales tax can be charged on online shipping costs depending on state tax laws.

    Furthermore, technically, if you order from Amazon.Com (or any other online retailer that does not charge you sales tax), you are required by law to report those purchases to your state government (on your state income tax return) and pay the sales tax directly to the state. (Quill Corp. v. North Dakota)

    In addition, Minnesota (and other state governments) are already pushing for a re-examination of the Supreme Court decision of Quill Corp. v. North Dakota, since technology has greatly advanced since 1992 and online retailers appear to be the future, as standard brick & mortar operations are closing shop. The state governments will pass legislation to make up for this loss of sales tax revenue.

    It is estimated that Minnesota lost approx $400 million is potential sales tax in 2010 due to online purchases.
