Mighty Spector is ALMOST GONE (Now SOLD OUT)

This just proves there is a loud minority of critics. There was supposed to be a huge boycott for Stinkor and he is gone in a little over 30 minutes. Spector is selling well. People who were scared to support him in public are getting him

There wasn't so much a boycotting getting the toy, but more of a statement to Mattel that we, as customers, do not approve of their ethics of selling a toy that is not properly assembled. Stinkor is my favorite MOTU character, and there is not going to be another way to get him properly fixed. So it's take it or leave it. I'm not happy that Mattel messed up this figure, and I will not buy another one if they do decide to fix the forearms. And since I finally got my favorite character, it's going to be a tough sell for Mattel to try and get me to renew my sub for next year......because of their unethical decisions. And Ram Man will not sell me a sub, either.

As for Spector, I was one who never said he hated the figure. I like it. I don't care if he's a Deadpool/Cable/Cyclops/Psylocke ripoff. He will look good in my Marvel collection.

All of the 30th figures had slightly lower runs compared to the monthly figs. Spector had the same run as Draego and Photog.

I don't care what anyone thinks Scott, I like Spector and I'm happy I bought a 30th Subscription. I like the surprise of seeing what the 30th figures are.

Please continue a small bi monthy sub in 2013 with just Filmation characters

Well, I personally bought 4 just to help offset all those who passed on him. The health and longevity of the line as a whole is more important to me than my feelings over one individual figure. Plus, I just want to show my support of Scott and his efforts.

Figures that have 'sold out' in the past pop up all the time as 'remaining stock' (even 95% of something could be considered 'remaining stock'). Scott said that Spector had the same run as the other 30th figures, and he's never lied about anything so that must be the truth.

If anything I believe that Spector was manufactured in the same quantity as Draego Man; but there is absolutely no way that I buy for a second that he sold better.

I'm glad Spector seems to be selling well.
I didn't buy one because there's too much I don't like about the design (i.e. colour choices, the spade), & I couldn't have been bothered to buy one of a character I have no attachment to when I would have to customize it in order to like it (for instance, I'd imagine painting that bright yellow harness would have been a bee with an itch).

But kudos to Scott & congrats to all those that like this particular figure.

I'm not saying this is the case for The Mighty Spector...but I believe Mattel puts "Almost Gone!" up sometimes to encourage sales. I mean, otherwise they wouldn't have had like...3000 Gygors on Cyber Monday. I forget the exact numbers of some of the figures, but I have them posted somewhere on here...

Got my Spectors' and for what's it worth I knew what I was getting way before the sub offer came up. Despite the feelings (which are not that negative; my issue was just color scheme) and I totally understand and respect them all, I have him due to my completest disorder and as I have stated I will re-deco one of him as maybe a powered-up Spector or Time Phasing Spector. And once I get it done hopefully I can share it with the rest of the org. If my purchase helps the line then that's all that matters in the end for me! Here's to a continuing line, that will one day be mistake free, fully accessorized and painted! Long Live MOTU!!!

I think it's great! This goes to show that the Org does not really represent the majority of how people feel about certain figures, etc. All of the complaints and TMS is selling out! I love the posts denying it being true. Congratulations to Scott!! Can't wait for Sir Laser Lot and the rest of the 30th MOTUC figures!!

If TMS legitimately sells out within 24 hours, this line is healthier than I would have suspected. Maybe 2017 is a realistic goal. Just don't release anymore NA figures, lol.

I forgot that today was the 15th! (I have the regular sub so don't have to worry about sale days every month). I got home and got on the computer and saw this thread, then went over to Mattycollector and was glad to see he was still "almost gone". I got one and I am thrilled!

I love all the conspiracy theories stating that Scott is doing something to make it look like Spector is selling better.

I mean, really? Just because "you" and some other people don't like the design and/or creator you can't believe that a majority of the people who collect this line do like him? That's a little egocentric...isn't it?

All I can say is that I hope the short sellout times for the 30th figures is enough to convince them to do a 6 figure Filmation subscription next year. If that's the case, all the Spector madness will have been worth it to me.

Seriously, I love Transformers, but enough friggin Bumblebee's already! Bumblebee is not my main character, and the ones I do like, get no love....Mirage & Hound for example....petition Hasbro to stop Bumblebee production, especially the ones that can't friggin talk, or are Prowl and Jazz wannabees.

When a figure sells out fast, people who don't like it claim it had a small production run. When it sells out more slowly, they call it a failure. You know the drill

Almost gone doesn't mean anything though, some figures have been 'almost gone' for days.

Anyway, not nearly as bad a figure as a certain segment of fans made it out to be. Glad to see it doing well.

And you guys were saying? Usual or not, this time, they are right. Scott confirmed that the 30th figures had a lower run, and I believe he stated it back with Photog. Honestly I don't care if he sells out, or sits for days, I don't like the figure, but there are many that do....and it's never been about Scott, if I was in his shoes and I had the opportunity to make my figure....I'd jump at it as well.
