Stinkor arrived today and is fecking awesome! Going with the vintage 'Mer Man' head as I like his eyes better, and the reversed wrists aren't a big deal for me as they at least distinguish him from everyone else with those arms. Weird that I've only had mine out of the package for around five hours, and the smell seems to be wearing off already. My Moss-Man is still nicely 'pine-fresh'...

Bit cheesed off with soooo many characters having 'real' names that conveniently tie in with their 'power', but I don't follow the bios anyway. Definate win!
I survived the 2013 sub ordeal!

Mine came today. I was lucky enough to recieve the ultra rare Stinkor chase version whose gun is so warped that he can fire around corners. Hooray!!!

All in all he is one of my favorite figures. I love the orange color they went with, and the angles and flow lines of the armor are just perfect. This one was smashed way out of the park imo (forearms aside). Speaking of, I never noticed this in the photos, but there is a weird bump at the left wrists (maybe the right wrist too), which just makes things look even worse.

Slush head is right up there too, but not quite as awesome. I would have rathered new feet, since his feet in the cartoon (and I assume the original figure) were strange single talloned flipper looking things: very unique.

TMS is much better than I thought too. To me he fits in nicely asthetically speaking, but I still wonder about that single gold armband though. What were they thinking? Oh I guess I probably know; that was the byob to the office day; the same day Stinkor's forearms got swapped to make them pop. Yeah, they look like they've popped right out of joint.
Looking for a reasonable price for Fangman and maybe king He-man and Strobo.

Why does my Stinkor white mailer say "Lieutenant Spector" on the bottom of it?

The Snake Mountain stands do have a bit of a purple wash to them. They look better than I thought.

Got mine in yesterday and happy with all 3 ---YES, even Spector (I customized him a little though). At first I was a little put off by Stinkor's forearms and was thinking about switching them, but they've actually grown on me, so I'm going to leave them as is. Also, my Stinkor does smell, not AS strong as Moss Man was at first--but the smell is def there---one of my favorite figures to date.

    MORE TOYS OM NOM NOM.

Slushy: Man, I can't believe I'm sayin' this, but I'm actually glad Slushy's tenticles aren't bendy! I mean yeah, I would have liked that for other posing options, but having them fixed like that actually makes him more fun for play than for display. They can knock dudes over, trip up thier legs, grab weapons, etc. It's pretty cool! That, and they are fixed in a perfect position no matter which side you have them on. Only complaint I have is that, after looking at his dome - he could have TOTALLY had a turnable head. Dunno how that passed them up. Overall though, I love 'em! Never had 'em as a kid, so it's cool to finally have a version of him. Also glad that he can use his weapon both ways!

Spector: SO COOL. I knew I would like him but he's even better in-hand. He embodies everything that was simplistic about my old drawings as a kid, and it's cool to have that child-like spirit in the 30th line. In fact, I'd say all the reveals so far are very child-like in spirit, and I think that's one of the most important parts (besides the fact that it's like going to the store and discovering brand new toys you've never seen). Of course, beyond all that, I just like the simple design and the ideas behind him. Gun, energy knife, and the coolest little cosmic key ever. It's funny; he has less tech than some MotU figures, yet still has that....from-the-future feel. I'll have to wait until I get Sir Laser-Lot, but I think Spector might be my favorite from the 30th line in terms of playability. Draego certainly takes the cake for PURE ARTISTIC joy and amazment, but he's kinda hard to get into dynamic poses with the huge tail in the way (which I feel was a failing of Whiplash as well, since the original figure's tail was nice 'n rubbery).

STINKY: WOW. Never had this guy when I was little, but WHOO BOY I am impressed! Way cooler than I thought he would be; I mean seriously. Part of that....well, part of that may be from this little misshap:

AAAAHHHHGGHHH!! No pupils in my 200X head! When I first unboxed him I was disappointed...but then I put the head on. Man, look at that creepy sucker!! Isn't that awesome? Still, I made a post to see if anyone didn't want the 200X head so I can get a correct one, but I wana keep this head 'cause it's so hilarious and creepy. Funny how my first error figure (to the point where I would consider sending it back) is actually a happy accident. So cool! Only one other problem...

...the vintage head is screwed up too! I'm already in negotiations for a vintage head, so at least that'll get fixed. We'll see if anyone is willing to get rid of a 200X head for me as well.

Beyond all that, though: Stinkor is friggin' awesome! The arms don't even bother me like I thought they would. Really a great figure all around; especially because of my crazy mistake horror head!

That's one of those disturbing errors that you almost don't mind. I have a Chief Carnivus that is missing his pupils as well. He has all red eyes, but after looking at it, I decided to keep it because it looked decent.

And yeah, I agree on Spector. He's a very cool looking figure, and he's super fun to play with. I like him quite a bit.

Wow you got 2 variants in one. Lazy Eye Stinkor and Glaucoma Action Stinkor. Funny errors, but I hope you get replacement heads for them! If not, I think I know the cure for the Glaucoma Stinkor variant.

Lets' forget to paint pupils on Stinkor's head and package him, then sell him. Or better yet, lets make Stinkor have a lazy eye and sell him that way. Another fine job by our favorite toy company.

Would it really be that hard to get at least 2 or 3 people to inspect these figures and accessories before they go in the blister??? Isn't that called a Quality Control Inspector? sigh.

finally got all three... they are awesome, no issues at all this time! I love Stinkor, in my top 5 I think. The other two are very cool, I actually like Spector more than I thought I would, it might be that his cosmic key time device is set on sex, so he is travelling through time and space looking the best scores imaginable, and then teleporting away in the nick of time!

Just opened mine today. Stinkor is awesome. Lt. Spector will go to the back of the shelf. I am torqued off about Slushhead. His one tentacle won't stay in. It just falls off. Not sure I want to delay with a Matty return.

This is genius. Similar to your similar photo with Icarius, but even better

Got Stinkor today. All-round solid figure. Awesome.
His joints are perfect. I'm not sure which head to use yet, I've switched them a few times. I thought I'd stick with the 200x head, since MYP is the only reason I even like him, but the vintage head is better than I thought.

I never smelled a Stinkor figure before, so suffice to say I think my reaction was like anyone on Eternia . But it's not that bad. I can barely smell it now, which I appreciate.

I'll concede that the lack of painted detail on the shield looks cheap. Being a shield, it stands out more due to the size. It should have been painted. The gun is 'okay', I could care less about the tanks though, they're on his back.

The arms are fine. In fact it looks as if they might be pointing inward more then they would have otherwise, due to the armor, which is better. On the other arm you don't even see it b/c of the shield.
That said, Mattel should never do that again. They should have known better than doing something like that. The design team is sure behind a lot of terrible decisions.

I'll give him an 'A'. Even though it doesn't really bother me, the lack of paint and switched forearms prevents what would have been an A+.

    HUZZAH!!!

I came home from being away doing a show through April and May to find my boxes-o-Matty!

Draego-Man and TP He-Man ---- amazing. They are excellent. No problems. Tight joints. Just so cool. The 4H should be VERY proud of Draego-Man, especially!!

Stinkor & Slush Head ---- what a pair!!! Stinkor is SO FRIGGIN' COOL!!! I'm so happy with him... and, I know I'll get slapped, but I kinda like the mistaken forearms. I know, I don't believe it was done on purpose either, BUT it works (fortunately). Slush Head is a triumph. I'm really surprised by the lack of reaction. This is an excellent figure, and the parts re-use is very wise. I love that about this line in general, but this is a shining example of how parts re-use doesn't have to be bad. I don't know if I will put water in... the plug isn't the tightest, and I don't have the patience to distill water lol.

Spector ---- I like him. I hate the spade. I hated the pic Scott posted of his "childhood home" where he wrote "Spector" (with a backwards "r" and a spade symbol) in the wet cement of his sidewalk... come on.... You reversed your letters past the age of 3, 4, or 5? Anyway, I love the boots and the way they are painted to make the parts re-use look more unique. I love the gold detailing, and the cosmic key pieces (I'm sorry, but they could have afforded the whip... come on now). I like the head in person more than I thought I would. It's not a great design, but it's not terrible. It's certainly better than Nocturna (NA) and comparable to Vizar (NA). He's NA to me. Gotta find a sticker of the grayskull symbol. The spade is wrong.

What a great day. FIVE new MOTUC figures at once, to go along with the collection I haven't seen in 2 months

I love all 3 of the figures this month.

Slush Head I'm still becoming familiar with, but he's unique, nicely done and I'm impressed with the way he's been brought into the Classics style as usual. I actually like how the non-bendy tentacles can stick up in the air without drooping or knocking him off-balance and they've got a nice shape to them.

Stinkor is great, of course. My 200X head's pupils are off centered so that he's looking a bit to the left, but it actually works in giving him a creepy expression as if he's peering around that bit of armor in his face. I was all set to give a forearm fix a try, but something clicked for me where I think I like them this way. I truly don't think this was intentional at all, from from the angle where you can see the odd muscle shape, it looks like a chimp arm. 200X staction has long arms, like a chimp. I prefer the 200X head and gear. Works for me, thankfully. It's very possible that I simply don't feel like painting stripes, though.

Mine really doesn't smell much at all. I guess it's there, but all I'm getting is a prolonged version of that toxic new figure smell from a freshly opened figure that we all love so much. Or maybe it's just me. Anyway, I'm fine with very little smell and it would be about the strangest argument to claim as a QC error while attempting to get a replacement. "MY TOY DOESN'T SMELL HORRIBLE ENOUGH" "I'm sorry, but what's the problem?" "HE'S A SKUNK-PERSON!"

    ".....(click)"

    "HELLO?"

Spector? I love this thing an unreasonable amount. He seriously may be my favorite this month. Before his arrival, I thought he was kinda neat, with some love that was simply amplified by all the hate. In hand, he really works for me and has the right combo of cool and goofy that I've grown to truly love about MOTU. I love his green blade and it's texture. Pistol is nifty. People say Deadpool, but I get a slight vibe from Bane, Snake Eyes and lots of other comic characters. In a good way. I think he's fun and very fun to pose and I'm very pleased to have him. In fact, in MY CANON, he may just be Eternia's GREATEST HERO. Ever.

I love you, Mighty Spector. Shine on, you crazy diamond-eyed prince.

Here's my Stinkor, as the 4H intended...I used all the SDCC and toyfair photos I could find to match the metallic blue highlights on his weapons exactly as they were on the prototype.
