Didn't Scott directly confirm several times now that they would not pull a cheap move like making Ram-Man the 2013 sub-exclusive? TG would lose MASSIVE amounts of credibility and I'm pretty sure this would be a HORRIBLE time to try and pull crap with fans.
TO CLARIFY-
I'm not saying Brian said he was going to be a sub figure I just wanted to take the chance to point out Ram-Man WON'T be the exclusive before people took Brian's comment as meaning the exclusive elsewhere- which indirectly ended up happening.

Sub lure can also be the first three monthly figures of the new year. IE Sorceress, Khan, Fisto of 2012
Hide & Seek Hordak does nothing to make collecting fun.
I think the sub lure for 2013 will be a mandatory POP concept figure 4 pack.

If they use Ram Man in 2013, then they could use Scorpia in 2014 since it seems as if she's one of the next most requested figures. They could possibly use other vintage figures, such as Two Bad or Mantenna in later years.
Now that I think of it, I would have expected Mekaneck to be a lure, so it's odd that he's coming out in the fall.
I say we see him as a Sub lure for 2013.

Read bcrdukes comment again? He NEVER said Ram-Man as the Sub EXCLUSIVE he said maybe as a Sub Lure. Meaning If Ram-Man was in the 2013 Subscription it would lure more people into buying subs because everyone knows on sale day Ram-Man will last two seconds before selling out.
Who said I was responding to Brian again? I happened to post in the topic and it was under Brian- if I was responding directly to him I would QUOTE him. I was posting it here to curb all the speculation I've read on here, The Foosh, and other boards about people claiming Ram-Man will be the exclusive for the sub and I was trying to nip it in the bud before it starts. Also, Brian is an extremely articulate man and I'm sure he can speak for himself in general so please don't think he wouldn't if he felt slighted in the least.

We also need to count the number of people who used to be vintage motu-only fans who have been swayed by MOTUC's inclusion of POP, NA, Filmation, mini-comics, and concept characters. There have been quite a few here, and since the Org is a really nice cross-section of the customer base, I would feel comfortable betting that the majority of customers are into this line for the great new stuff to come.

Apparently Scott is indeed sticking to his original statement of Ram-Man NOT being a sub exclusive, I still hope he makes him a sub lure none the less!
Personally, I guessed Two-Bad in a previous thread instead of Ram-Man as the big sub lure revealed at SDCC, but I'm in agreement that at least one of the first quarter previews will be a figure with mostly new tooling. I guess you could lump Mantenna in that category with Ram-Man and Two-Bad, too, although he strikes me as a bit less of a 'must-have' for most people.
I am one of those! Initially I onlt wanted the MOTU stuff and shortly owned everything. If we got Ram Man tomorrow most people will still be buying since everyone has a different favorite character. If it's not Eldor it will be either King He-Man () or Dare as the sub exclusive.
We will have King Miro, Lodar, Clamp Champ, Octavia, Stridor, Horde Troopers, NA Skeletor, Hydron, Battleground Queen Marlena just to name a few!
For 2013 Horde Troopers are a must. I also hope we get a Prahvus and something from the King He-Man era. As far as a beast I hope we get Battle Lion and maybe a Stridor. I would also, like to see a 3 pack sold outside the sub like they did with Granamyr.
My guess is that Ram Man isn't coming in 2013 but 2014 or later. The sub-ex will be King Miro to round out further the royal family. Two-Bad will be a sub lure with a prominent POP-ster and an early Filmation star like Strong Arm.
These are guesses.
