MOTUC Xantor Custom

The funny thing about customizing toys, is eventually you want to make a custom of yourself.
So here you go, Here is me as a Heroic Warrior.

I wanted to go as vintage as possible, so that is why the paint apps are so straightforward.

I've always though that i resembled the vintage MAA so, the head is a clean shaven MAA face, Count Marzo head and modded He-Man hair.
When i was a kid I would always stick my cardboard swords down the back of my shirt (like He-Man) so Xantor had to have a proper sword holder, so I took the cross brace from a He-Man harness and modded the Fisto armor.

I love rollerblading so that is why he has the Jet Boots.
Black and gray are my favorite colors, thus the overall color scheme, and I am usually found in olive or camo shorts, that is why he has green furry shorts.
if you notice the tattoo on his left wrist is because I have a bar code tattoo on my left wrist, but the one on the figure is a glyph taken from the '87 movie throne in Grayskull.
I'll try to get a comparison pic up soon.

Since I wanted ears and the MAA head doesn't have that detail, I basically cut the two heads in half and switched the faces around. It was a fair amount of work getting it matched up and hiding the seams while preserving the original face paint apps.
