The new season starts Monday, so for anyone who hasn't read my Masters of the Universe comics, here is the whole first season in one download. It's kind of like a digital version of a trade paperback, issues 1-8 all in one. I've improved the picture and dialogue quality by switching to a new PDF maker (which I'll be using on all future comics for this series), so even if you already downloaded the comics, you might be interested in having this version. I'll post the Princess of Power version either tonight or tomorrow.

Here is the Princess of Power season one complete set (issues 1-8). It's like a big graphic novel - 958 pages and 30.1 mb. Pdf format. If you're planning on saving these comics I would recommend these complete sets because I've improved the quality quite a bit - the images and dialogue are crystal clear.

Sorry for being MIA lately - I’ve been really busy and haven’t had the time I’d like to work on the comics (free comics don’t pay the bills so they’ve got to take a backseat to other priorities... ). But I’ve got the whole day tomorrow so I plan on getting Princess of Power #9 together and uploading it as soon as possible. I know it stinks to have to wait so long when you’re invested in a story and I just wanted to let you guys know I haven’t quit on it or anything. In fact, I think issue #9 will be worth the wait, as it sets up the story arc for the season and it contains a lot of little tidbits that make up the overall mythology this series is developing.

(When I wrote the scripts for season two, I think I thought I was writing a novel! I’m actually having to find ways to cut them down a bit because they’re too long. )

I’m really happy with this next issue and I can’t wait for you guys to read it. You’ll get to find out more about Angella’s background in this one, which was a lot of fun to explore. See ya soon!

Good news - starting Monday my schedule should start freeing up a bit, so I'm setting aside lots of time to work on these comics again. If I'd known how busy I was going to be, I would have just announced season two to start at the beginning of November in the first place . Unless I get hit by a bus or something, I plan on having the rest of season two posted as soon as possible (I'm working on it right now!).

EDIT: Woah, that was quite a beefy chapter! Catra's got an airship, Angella's been gravely wounded, Adora has to protect the Crystal Castle and Bow has to go find the Crystal Falls (and Mermista?)

Very neat ideas. One question though - was it a typo that Angella proclaimed "Glimmer!" when looking at the painted walls?

I loved seeing the canopy bed in the Crystal Castle. It'll be fun to see the other "rooms" too. Will the throne raise up to the roof, I wonder?

I'm happy to still HAVE readers after a bit of an absence . I tried really hard to get finished through issues 11 before I left for New York last week, but I just ran out of time. I'm about 3/4 finished on POP #10 so I'll have that one posted soon and the artwork on issues 11 for both series are partly done so it shouldn't take too much time to complete them, either. I'm glad you like it so far - season one still gets a lot of downloads (my POP comics are more popular than MOTU by a bit, in case anyone is wondering). My downloads number in the hundreds (I haven't checked it since I've been back from my trip) so it's encouraging to know plenty of people are reading. It makes doing them much more fun!

Don't worry, you're not too late on catching up on season two - I've been really slow at posting them (too busy lately) but things are kind of slowing down for me now and I should be able to post them a little more frequently (the issues for season two are a lot longer than season one, although I've been trying to find ways to cut them down a little. Sometimes I forget I'm writing a comic and not a novel ).

The mention of Glimmer in the scene inside the Hall of Painted History was intentional. I know I didn't portray it well due to my comic style, but the wall Angella was looking at was "viewer side," so we didn't see whatever she was seeing (we just know it was something horrible due to her reaction). There are some clues in the paintings behind Angella as to what she discovers but for now it's a mystery to us since she didn't get a chance to tell anyone.

You will get a glimpse of the Crystal Castle throne in the next issue and yes, I found a way to incorporate the elevator action into another issue after that.

I'll get the pages put together this week and have the next two (MOTU #11 and POP #11) posted as soon as I can.

So I just finished reading issue 10 the other day (I kept getting distracted and forgetting about it) and I really liked the creative twists regarding the whole line of "Crystal" horses Interesting idea to base a story around.

Swift Wind is comedy gold! Every single time SHE appears (this is probably the first time in the history of my She-Ra fandom that I don't mind saying "she" with regards to the horse!) I just about crack up. Even during the tension-filled escape from the cave sequences It's something about the way she drops in and out of scenes - like an enormous cardboard cutout. But please, don't change it...it makes me smile in the best way possible.

It's been a while since I read through season one, but was the gent on the throne in #10 someone who made significant appearances throughout those earliest issues? I don't want to spoil it for anyone, but I'm blanking on the characters names...

Keep it up! Can't wait to see how Catra, Angella and Bow are faring....

The guy on the throne was Fehrian, whom Hordak brought back to life years later to serve him. There is a brief shot of him in Issue #1 as his younger self when Fehrian is telling Adora about his past.

I have all of the artwork finished for the next POP issue, so I will try and have it posted in a few days (putting the pages together usually takes longer than anything else with all of the little bits and pieces that have to be moved around and dialog that has to be inserted).
