Yesterday's comic had the most downloads in one day since last October and the forth most in one day overall since I started posting them. You guys really like your Princess of Power! Thanks to everyone who's taking the time to read these - I hope you're enjoying it so far. The next issue will put us at the halfway point of the series as we begin to introduce some of the more popular characters from wave two. There's lots more story to tell yet and I think it's going to be fun to read the whole thing together when it's all finished.

I knew you'd get a kick out of the horse attacks. I was thinking that while doing the artwork.

I've started working on the next issues this week so they should be posted sometime in the near future. The next POP has entirely new backgrounds we haven't seen before, so that will take a little while to finish up (and if you saw the title of the next issue, I guess you know which new character will be introduced).

...I can't believe how much cooler I think the toyline is because of these stories of yours. Almost makes me want to go out and buy a Crystal Sundancer or something just to re-enact horse attacks wherever I go.

Sorry for my absence - I promised new comics in my last post but shortly thereafter I had a tragedy in my family coupled with being ill, so it's been a rough couple of weeks. But life is starting to return to normal for the most part and I've started doing artwork again so hopefully I'll have some new stuff up by next week (it feels good to be back at it again!).

Thanks, I appreciate the kind words, but I'm doing okay and ready to get back into the world of MOTU and POP. I sat down yesterday and read through the scripts for POP issues 12-16 (I wrote them quite a while ago) and I'd forgotten how long the script for #16 was . I don't know how I'm going to get it all into one issue, but I can at least promise it's going to be a pretty epic story!

But first up, I hope to have the next issue of MOTU up in the coming week. Here is a hint of who will be debuting in it:

The artwork for the next comic is finished and I should have the pages put together by sometime tomorrow. It should be posted my Friday morning (blame Man-E-Faces for it taking so long... he was a pain in the neck to get right but he came out really well).

Yay! I enjoy reading these quite a bit. It's an interesting take on MOTU.

WHERE IS THE NEW COMIC?!! you might be asking... it's about 95% finished, I just ran out of time today (to put it into perspective, I've spent about 12 hours laying out the pages this week - that's how long it takes me to do. POP issues are usually about twice that). I'll have it up tomorrow (Saturday). My next post will include a comic I PROMISE!!!
