I'd be fine with NA and Laser Light Skeletor sharing parts. But I'd be sad if Skeletor doesn't get a new torso with the bionic spine. That was one of the coolest things about him.

HIGHLY agree! The bionic parts sticking out of NA Skeletor was my absolute favorite part.

Exactly my thought, SDCC figures usually are appointed a larger budget and working light would totally be a possibility (if they wanted)..

Besides, Laser power HM is almost a 80% reusing of He man parts, and Laser light skeletor would be a 95% reuse of NA Skeletor..with so few new-tooled parts i don't think it would be asking too much for a $40 pack to include the light up feature..

As well as the light-up feature being too expensive for Mattel's budget, wouldn't the electronic component of it all prevent them from selling it to fans in Europe as well, like the King Grayskull SDCC edition? In that light, wouldn't it be best for them to omit the light-up feature so all fans, geographically, can have a reasonable chance to obtain the figure?

Agreed; there was some impressive detail in the deformities on NA Skeletor's back (indicating he'd been very seriously injured in his quest to conquer Eternia). I'd love to see what the Fab Four could with that...

Well, they were able to ship the Back to the Future board internationally, so I guess they might have found a loophole for that overseas shipping issue.

Dragon Blaster Skeletor is what my money is on, considering it was the "counter" for Thunder Punch He-man in the initial release back in the day. But they could always throw a curve-ball. We could get Battle Ground Mo-Larr with new blonde hair.

Since we're all guessing, I'd like to see Blue/Filmation Hordak or Toy Catra. But Hordak already got a variant so I don't see him coming back again so soon. Odds are in favor for a Skeletor Variant though.

Hmmm, what about an Ambrosia-powered Tri-Klops like from the Sky War episode of the MYP series? He'd just need a new armour and possibly attachment to his visor to get the right look. And I personally always liked that look for him.

Actually, yes - a Catra variant is probably in the pipeline, although I'd prefer a 'POP' slot to go to one of the GR ladies.

I don't know who it will be, but I can say for sure who it won't be....MAA

But again, I would love to see Filmation Hordak, so I can actually have a version of him in my collection....I don't like the Classics version much, and I like the H Hordak better, but all that vac metal on his armor, just may not end well....even MOSC.

In theory, a Catra variant shouldn't affect a GR lady, as they'd be different slots

I'd actually like to see a classicised Snake Teela, but not yet, don't want two snakified Masters in a row (if we'd had my way, Snake Teela would have been the 2nd quarted variant and would have come with the SAA head, especially with the MAA re-release the month before!)

Honestly if they did DB Skeletor right (and I know the 4H at least would) I would get him, I ever had him, but I would buy him. And also it will be the last to include the Mini Comic, so I hope it would blow SMAA away, not that much else couldn't.

Matty and TG have been up front about the plan behind the line being to maximize the number of unique figures. Being from two separate lines, the two represent legitimate variant opportunities. Doubt they'd waste that by combining them.
