We've gotten Thunder Punch He-Man....I know BA Skeletor came out a year after BA He-Man, but I do believe it will be DB Skeletor....I mean after the BS that is SMAA it had better be a really good one.

Brother you said it. Forcing cheap characters like SMAA into subscriptions is a great way to spook people from committing to subs.

I say this variant will have the "wow factor".

Well some of them did. I certainly never received it.

As to Skeletor. I think we can all agree NA Skeletor is on the radar for some day, but I really hope that when we get a NA Skeletor, we get Discs of Doom Skeletor and not the Skeletor that was originally released for the 1990 toy line. That Skeletor only appeared in six episodes and wasn't as visually exciting or memorable as the Skeletor in the rest of the series.

Agreed- I think we may see them do something where we get the "samurai" DOD head and the regular head as well and clip on armor to sort of make both. They can even re-use Vykron tooling for the legs on DOD.

To me, the first NA Skeletor release is still THE NA Skeletor. I love the Discs of Doom version and I want that one as well. But I want the first NA Skeletor. If he comes with swappable Laser light Skeletor parts, I'm cool with that.

Exactly the same with me. Any of those variants would be freaking awesome!

However I probably should try to be cautious and not set myself up for disappointment (we've had too many of those this year). It is possible that we will get something retarded like 'Battleground Spector' in Scott's childhood Halloween costume colors or some other crap.

I don't know anything past what I had said earlier in the year- I'm simply making educated fan speculation based on the release schedule for the variants this year all being contained in the mini-comics (TP He-Man, MAA, ???).

We already got the Sorceress twice this year if you count TOD, I highly doubt they would choose another regardless if she's in the mini-comic or not.

Rumor has it that one of those will be a Skeletor variant... and one will be somewhat unconventional.

I don't think it's going to be Dragon Blaster Skeletor... though with Draego-Man and Granamyr coming out this year, that would make a lot of sense.

Lazer/NA Skeletor is what I predict... but then again, maybe someone else who appeared in the mini-comic will be given the variant slot...

I guess there's that weird Beast Man guy that appears to have no home in the mythos so far.

I really wish they would just spill who that Beast character is as I'm dying to see people's reaction when they find out Although everyone will know this month with the SMAA arrival so I guess that's cool. Never let anyone tell you that buying comic art is a poor investment!

I think he meant the mini as in the new series with the figures this year- I WISH it were NA Sorceress though!

The only thing I wonder is if they went with Laser Light Skeletor or NA Skeletor (it's not going to be NA in my opinion), wouldn't they either have to give the parts to make both figures or risk ******* a lot of fans off later by making them pay for almost the same figure twice?

The other thing I noticed is how Eric mentioned they had to rework an accessory for one of the variants and I could only think that it would be the Dragon attachment on DBS. Hmmmm I wonder if them registering King He-Man after he's already been mentioned could point to HIM as being the variant?
