That is the hardest part but I free handed mine and I am no where near artistic. Here are some close ups of the one I did:

I used a matte varnish by Delta Ceramacoat.

thank you sir! I removed the arms and hands (WAAAAAAAY easier than I imagined! ) painted them (need a 2nd black coat though) and will seal it when I get the sealer and replace the arms. (they look SO MUCH BETTER the right way!!)

Yes, please post pics when you do that. I would like to see how it comes out.
Here's my corrected Stinkor with varnish on the shield details. The difference is subtle like I'd hoped.

Is it normal for one of the elbow pegs to be shorter than the other. I took my Stinkor apart, and noticed that one peg is a good deal shorter than the other. I can't get either arm now to attach using the peg because of the length. However, the factory somehow had it attached before when the arms were "wrong." Any advice?

Squeezing the elbows back together was the hardest part for me. All I can say is heat it up and squeeze hard. What I did was use some pliers to pinch it together (use a rag or something to put between the pliers and plastic so the teeth doesn't eat into it) and then use a screw driver to push the pin through. Hope that helped.
