OMG! I just watched this with no audio (I'm not able to right now, I'll watch it will audio later tonight), but I'm already stoked for this! It's AWESOME that they have all of those other video game characters in there. Bowser! Dr. Robotnick (Eggman)! M. Bison! The Pac-Man ghost! It's like "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" for video game characters! (in terms of the crossover, etc). I am SO going to see this!

Okay... Disney officially has to do a CG-animated Super Mario Bros. movie!

Wow, that looked pretty good and it wasn't even Pixar.

I am kind of surprised they got some of the cameos they did with this.

I am so surprised and happy that they have so many official video game characters in this movie! I'm excited for this!

I'm surprsied to see so many people being "surprised" that a non-Pixar Disney movie looks so good. I've seen a lot of folks posting this in various places around the net. Did people not see Tangled? I thought that was a fantastic movie that looked gorgeous!

Tangled was pretty good. But honestly, most of Disney's CGI animation film efforts (outside of Pixar) have been rather lackluster, IMO. Things like Meet the Robinsons and Chicken Little just don't feel like they are up to the typical Disney calibur.

Yeah, I agree with Dynamo. Tangled was the exception not the norm when it comes to Disney CG movies. Looking at the trailer again, though I like all of the video game characters that they have, I don't see anything that makes me think this will be a good movie other than John Lasseter being involved.

Disney came thru with Tangled but that's about it. When it comes to CG movies Pixar is playing Chess, Disney is playing Checkers.

Dan, I know you know that already; that's why people are surprised if Disney makes a good CG film.

They say they're going for Who Framed Roger Rabbit but for video games.

Aww, no Tron reference? Still, it looks funny.

Well, not in the trailer anyway. I'm hoping that there are other characters and references that are going to show up that aren't in the trailer.

When I first heard the concept, I was pretty skeptical. After seeing the trailer - this looks really promising.

WHOA, wonder how much that scene cost? I doubt we're going to be seeing those characters regularly through the movie. Still, that's really awesome that they managed to get that many companies to say "yes" to a cameo with thier characters. Video games already have enough trouble contacting each other for that junk (I mean, Mega Man wasn't in Smash Bros Brawl simply because Nintendo expected Capcom to contact them and Capcom expected Nintendo to contact THEM).

Very much looking forward to this! Looks like they'll be covering a lot of genres, which is good. Hopefully there will be video games jokes from all across the board!

Despite my issues with Disney in recent years, this one looks like it could be fun. Maybe things are turing around for the better. Regardless, I might check this one out.

This one looks cool but I would like to know how they got the rights for all these video game characters.

The same way that they got many actual, copyrighted toys to appear in the Toy Story films... they made deals with the comapnies that own them to allow Disney to use them in the movie.

When I first heard about this, I thought it was going to be stupid. But now that I saw the trailer, I'm curious in seeing it. It's like Who Framed Roger Rabbit, but with video game characters in it. But where's the Kingdom Hearts characters?

And if they did make another Toy Story short, they should have He-man and She-ra action figures make a cameo (they are under Mattel technically).

LOL, they even got Kano from Mortal Kombat in there! Totally seeing this.
