I gotta agree with Max, Cheetara for the win. If it was just based on hand to hand combat I would say Teela for sure. They both have magical Staff's But with Cheetara's super speed it means she has the edge. But if cheetara was facing Teela as the new Sorceress of Grayskull or She-Ra then I would say Cheetara's goose has been cooked.

I'm going against the general consensus here.
Teela is more of a strategist than Cheetara being the "Captain of the Guard" and will therefore adapt her fight strategy to cope with any advantages that Cheetara may have such as speed and achieve vicory. She may for example trip her up so that she falls then close in and use her hand to hand combat skills while she is down. Alternatively, she could use energy/magic blasts from her magical Staff of Ka to stun or weaken Cheetara.

While Teela's fighting prowess was amped up for the 200x version, comparatively speaking she is still written as a much physically weaker character than Cheetara.
As a kid I would have said Cheetara, but nowadays i'd have to go with Teela. It would definitely depend on where the battle took place though. In a jungle environment, i'd say the odds would be pretty even. In a city - Teela. On open ground - Cheetara.
Cheetara hands down, she outclasses Teela in everyway
