He's no Pixel Dan, but I love how hard Scott tries. I bet he'd be a blast to hang out with.

yeah that would have made A LOT of people happy, but still glad the cannon is coming, and so are Keldors swords.

I like these vids, not a replacement for PD's HD reviews, but still fun little "insights"

Oh boy, cue the "Scott is trying to steal Dan's job!" posts

I'm disappointed there won't be a Griffin review before the sale...I'm not 100% sold on it yet. It does look nice, but I'm also disappointed that they didn't give him proper front feet rather than the cat paws.

Scott let me know yesterday that they didn't received PR samples of Snake MAA and Griffin, and told me he was going to do a quick video so that fans had a chance to see the figures before they went on sale. I think that was cool of him.

I'll still do reviews of my subscription Snake MAA and Griffin when they show up. Hope you guys will still check them out even though they are after the sale.

SMAA is growing on me... at first I wasn't that excited, but the possibilities for bashing a 200x version are definitely a plus!

at first I was ****** OFF about the snake man at arms, I've softened a lot since he's now more 200x styled. I still hate the story direction, depending on how he looks I may put him as the current MAA and use the original as a young one.

Nice video! I appreciate these videos.

I laughed SO hard when Scott was playing with the Bat signal!

On, off, on, off...let's call Batman!

I totally want that Bat signal though! I only have the flashlight one that came from Taco Bell.

Oh, I also wanted to say that I like Snake Man-At-Arms. Initially, I didn't like him at all...because he was essentially a head and a new accessory...so he felt like a major money grab. However, Mattel listened to complaints about him and 200Xed him up. Now, I'm very happy with him because he's significantly different and feels worthy of a purchase. Now, pretty much everyone can make their favourite version of MAA (200X or 80's). We're just missing the helmetless 200X Duncan head. Still, A+ goes to Mattel for listening to the fans on this one.

It looks like Snake MAA's armor might match the Palace Guards armor color so Filmation fans will be able to finally make a Filmation Style MAA without any paint.

    1) MAA Mustache Head
    2) PG Body
    3) PG Arm Armor
    4) SMAA Chest Armor
    5) MAA Feet
    6) SMAA Trunks

Yeah, the trunks should be the standard kind but it's close enough.

For the record, I preferred the original design because it would have let me make MAA from the original 4 mini-coimcs.

Seems like every month that goes by, Pixel Dan's demo figures never seem to arrive at his door in a timely manner. This month he wont get them until after the sale... Kinda defeats the purpose, but I'm glad PD is still willing to review them anyway. But I can't help but feel that it's more than just a coincidence that PD keeps getting the figures late. Right around the time "the brand manager" started making his videos, PD started getting his figures late. Looks to me like one is slowly trying to phase out the other in the nicest, friendliest, possible way.

Would be better than a signed, game worn jersey!

Normally I'd be the first to point out this sort of issue but I think in this case you're reading too much into it- Pixel Dan has proven to help Mattel move units and it would HURT their sales if there was a backlash of people scorned because Dan wasn't given figures anymore- don't underestimate just how swell of a guy and great reviewer Dan is in the mind of a great majority of the fan base. I think what is more likely happening is that there are problems with the division that sends out product samples for review (which if I'm not mistaken is the promotional and new media division), and Dan and others are just getting the short end of the stick at the moment.

I actually have to be the first person to give credit to Scott for changing SMAA in the first place- it proves that if the fans are vocal enough about something, and the person in charge is receptive enough then things can change for the better. I could do with less of the corny jokes but it does come across as general enthusiasm for the brand and products so I'm cool with it- except the light switch joke which was $#*(@#$ hilarious. Plus I get my Filmation MAA and a Snake-Man head I can easily turn into a Snake-Man so it's all good.

Did you know that it takes 2 Pixel Dan's to equal the charisma of ten regular men!

Did you know that when police don't want to negotiate, they call in Pixel Dan!

There is only one man Mosquitor won't suck, and that's Pixel Dan!

You should ask to have the shirt off his back at Mattypalooza! There should be enough sweat in that one to be just like a game worn jersey!

I would DEFINITELY if I could afford a SoCal adventure like that, but sadly I cannot.

Man if I got a game worn Toyguru Mattel jersey, I'd get that **** framed and put it above my Apologist™ shrine. Right over my Mighty Spectors and Palace Guards.
